Enemies to lovers.

GENRE

Comedy, Romance, School, Youth.

DESCRIPTION

Ever since they were young, Pran and Pat's families had a deep and raging rivalry — trying to one-up each other on everything. This also extended towards their sons. Comparing their sons' achievements and merits, whether it be academic or extracurricular — the two families left no stones unturned to outshine and gloat in front of the other.

It was almost like rivalry was passed down as a family heirloom and the two boys became rivals as well. Until... they grew tired and became friends. Really good friends.

However, because of their families' rivalry, their friendship had to be kept under wraps. And so began a journey of secret friendship... and then perhaps a sweet secret romance?

COMMENT

I shed tears when I finished this drama.

What a beautiful ending to such a special story. Bad Buddy blew my mind and my expectations. I wasn't expecting such a great story or to love the characters so much.

Everything about Bad Buddy was Chef's Kiss.

I found with most Thai shows, once I finish them, I'm left feeling empty and sad knowing the show's done. I'm extremely happy right now and feel... complete?

It's hard to explain but it's not that I won't miss them or I'm not sad to say goodbye but it's that this story was done in such a well-done manner that I'm completely satisfied.

What a wonderful journey.

I have to say, this show took BL tropes and threw them out the door like they were trash! Seriously, the way this show represented consent, communication, GL, and another thing I loved, all their friends didn't suddenly turn gay! They also handled issues realistically and I'm just all here for healthy relationships.

Great story, great actors, great writing... just a great show in general.
