DESCRIPTION

Seventeen-year-old Hira, who is at the bottom of the class, tries to remain invisible at school, never wanting to open his mouth and expose his stuttering speech to his classmates. He views the world through his camera lens, detached until one-day Kiyoi Sou walks through the classroom door. 

The impact is instantaneous. Hira finds himself pulled into Kiyoi's gravity, following him everywhere and attending to his every need. Popularity comes easily to beautiful Kiyoi, always surrounded by his classmates. He uses his status to get what he wants, ordering around the boy who stares at him with his big eyes and seems to worship him like a god.

Hira contents himself to merely exist within Kiyoi's orbit, asking for nothing in return...

COMMENT

"Utsukushii Kare"/ "My Beautiful Man" will be rewatched many times by me. I know that for sure.

I can't explain to you how much I love this drama. There are only 6 episodes but it's so perfect, I have absolutely NOTHING to complain about.

I'm haven't gotten into Japanese drama's but after watching and loving 'Kei x Yaku: Abunai Aibou' that's currently airing, I decided that I have to give Japanese dramas/movies a chance. This drama was my first pick and I'm so in love with it... I'm incredibly upset I haven't watched it earlier but also so thankful that I found this story and was able to experience this incredible love.

I cried with happiness... that ending was just perfect. I adore both characters and I truly could feel that they both loved each other very much.

If I had to recommend any BL drama to someone, this would be in my top pick!

**P.s. this is based on a novel by Nagira Yuu - 'He, Who is Beautiful'. There are currently three novels out (I think this drama is based on the first novel) and the fourth one is on its way to being released. There's also an audio drama. **
