Kibishi's POV
The girls and I started to walk to the opposite side tunnel, which would lead us toward the upper area.
I had my gloves on alongside the wrist radar, my headphones on my neck, and my heart radar. We have to be on our guard for this mission. We don't know what's on the other side. It could be a horror show for all we know. Regardless, we have to stay sharp!
"Remember, everyone, this is a new area, so be on your guard," Kuma says with a severe expression. All of us nodded.
Soon, we found two paths that lead to a dark area. All of us made a stop and look at the tunnels. "Sheesh, now what?" Jir asked. "This could be a trap..." Kuma says while tapping her left cheek, "How do we know if it's not a trap then?" Tao asked.
Hmm...
I wonder if I can do something about it. Like last time when I track down Tao and Kuma's heart and soul. But I can notice them because I listen to them beforehand. Their hearts, I mean. Regardless, I have to try something. "Hey, Kuma. The creatures has hearts, right?" I wondered.
"Well, yeah. They are a living organism, after all. A fucking heartless one at that." Kuma commented.
"I see. Thank you for answering me." I nodded.
I step forward and look at the first one—the tunnel, I mean. Let's see...
I slowly close my eyes.
"Hmm..." I wait and listen...

.....................
......Nothing's there.
Chop! Thump!
I open my eyes and have a straight face. "The first one is a trap. If we take the left, we'll die by a couple of traps. A creature that was wandering around got its body split open clean."
"How can you tell, Kishi?" Tao asked.
" I can faintly hear a moving heart over there, but it stopped the moment I heard one of the traps activated," I explain. "Amazing, Kishi! You're so amazing!" Tao praises me while giving me a warm smile.
"Hehe..." I blush at her comment.
"So it safe to assume that the other path is fine then?" Jir asked.
"Well, maybe. But let me double-check just in case." I said. I look to the right and close my eyes. I began to listen to any sounds or moments...

BU-BUMP! BU-BUMP! BU-BUMP! BU-BUMP!
"One, two, three, four, five, six...no, it's too many to count. It's fresh new types of creatures, too. Their heart patterns are different than the ones on the lower area." I slowly open my eyes. "And the moon is about to bleed once again. Not to mention I can sense many threatening creatures with terrifying strength." I explained.
"I see. So we have to slice and twice them all then!" Kuma said.
"No, we won't." Tao's expression turns serious. "I'd say we explore with caution. This way, even if we ran into one or two creatures, it's better than attacking everyone who saw us because we were reckless."
