Our lives have been peaceful and I couldn't be more grateful. I sit up and look around. Levi's not in bed. I get out of bed.
"Good morning Mrs. Ackerman."
"Good morning. Have you seen Levi?" I ask.
"He's in the basement."
"Thanks."
I walk down in the basement. Levi was using the punching bag. This brings back so many memories.
"Morning Levi."
I greet, holding the punching bag. He was in the zone. I jump back in time before he hits me.
"Baby are you okay?!"
Levi rushes to me.
"I'm okay. I moved in time."
"What are you doing down here? Why aren't you resting?"
"I just woke up and you weren't in bed."
Levi hugs me.
"Please stop being reckless princess."
"I'm sorry."
Levi pulls away.
"Do you need anything?"
"No no. Watching you hit that punching bag brings back so many memories though."
Levi laughs.
"A lot has changed since then."
Levi holds my stomach.
"Have you spoken to your father lately?" I ask.
"Yeah. Him and Kenny are coming over today. Oh and the twins are coming too."
"So your whole crazy ass family." I laugh.
"Says the woman who took a man's head off and played soccer with it."
"Touché."
Levi kiss me.
"Come on. Let's get you something to eat."
Levi escorts me upstairs. Marcel was already preparing breakfast.
"What are you in the mood for Mrs. Ackerman?"
"Surprise me."
"I'll go wake the girls."
Levi kiss me before disappearing. There's a knock on the door.
"I'll get it!" I tell Marcel.
I walk to the door.
"Hise!"
"Good morning Princess. Why are you opening the door? Where's your butler?" Hise hugs me.
"Well he's making breakfast and I told him I'll answer it."
"And we could have been killers. Don't be reckless." Hise scolds me.
"You're scolding me too this morning?" I pout.
"Whatever Levi scolded you for, you deserve it."
"Asshole."
I push Hise aside and hug Kenny.
"We're just trying to protect you Princess."
Kenny kiss my forehead.
"And this is why Kenny is my favorite."
