Prompt: you tell your wife some very exciting news after getting the news you wanted to hear for a while
TW: struggles with infertility and pregnancy struggles

You were walking towards the office and was nearly bouncing with excitement but tried to hide it so you could surprise your wife but this was something that you couldn't stop grinning at and you knew your wife will be over the moon with the news you were about to give her, heading into the office you saw your wife Autumn sat at her desk and saw Marjorie was in the room "hi my love, Marjorie" you say to them both and walked over to where Autumn was sat and gave her a quick kiss on the lips "is it alright if I pinch Aut for a few minutes" you ask Marjorie and see her nod at you "sure Y/N" you hear her say and you gently take Autumns hand and lead her out the office and head outside to the garden section where you knew that many staff sometimes eat their lunch. Walking outside you lead Autumn to the benches and make her sit down, you stand in front of her and take her face in your hands and gently give her a kiss "I love you so much" you whisper to her after releasing her lips and saw her smile "I love you too my sweet" you hear her say and you gently let her face go and sit next to her "not that I don't mind you coming to see me but why are you here, shouldn't you be at your office" Autumn asks you which makes you laugh at her "yeah I'm meant to be and I will be going there once I have told you something first" you say once you have stopped laughing and saw her look at you once you mentioned having to tell her something "what do you need to tell me" she asked you and started to get excited about the news you had.

You turned to Autumn and gently took her hand and moved it to your slightly round stomach and saw her follow the gaze of your hand and looked at you with a confused look "what I have to tell you is something we both have wanted for a long time, but every time we got our hopes up it all came crashing down, however this time we don't have to get our hopes up and let that hope burn, so as you know I have been feeling off but we couldn't understand what was going, well I found out what it was and it has been confirmed okay" you say to her and saw her staring at you with such a deep gaze that you slowly lost yourself looking into her blue eyes "your worrying me my sweet" you heard her say and you knew that if you didn't say what you knew then she will start to worry even more "my love, our dreams are coming true and in 6 months we will be sleep deprived and exhausted but we will be so happy" you say to her and saw her eyes go wide and you could tell she was slowly putting everything you said together and you slowly hand her a bag that she hadn't noticed you had in your hand "open it my love" you tell her and watched with baited breath as she moved to open the bag. Watching Autumn open the bag you held your breath and saw her pull out a little onesie that had 'I only cry when stupid people hold me' written on the front and you knew that Autumn would love the wording, you saw her read the front before seeing a smirk appear on her face but soon you saw tears form in her arms "my sweet are you..." she started to say and you nodded at her "my love we are having a baby in 6 months" you say to her and saw her look between the onesie and you multiple times before she stood up and pulled you towards her and you felt her bring you in for a bruising kiss and you quickly responded to the kiss.

After kissing for a few minutes you slowly let go and rested your forehead on hers and stared into her glistening blue eyes, this was something you have both wanted for so long but thought it would never happen and after agreeing to do one more IVF attempt you thought it wouldn't work but that was nearly 3 months ago and after going to the doctors this morning due to feeling off and groggy it came back you were currently 11 and half weeks pregnant and it shocked you because you had tested and it came back negative, you had accepted that neither you or Autumn would ever carry a child and would look into adoption or surrogacy but know you didn't have to and both your dreams were coming true "I can't believe your pregnant" you heard her whisper and you looked at her with a soft smile on your lips "I can't either, when the doctor told me this morning I made him test it twice and got the same results twice, I thought it was stress from work and worrying about our future" you admit to Autumn and that got a chuckle from her since she thought it was the same reason as yourself. You walked backwards and pulled your top that you were wearing a bit tighter against your skin and when you did it made the outline of your stomach visible and you saw Autumn look at your stomach with wonder in her eyes "you have a small bump forming" you heard her whisper and watched as she bent down to be eye level with your stomach and you felt your eyes fill with tears when you heard "hi pup, it's mumma here I just want to let you know that you are so loved already and we can't wait to meet you, I'm so excited to see grow over the next few months before you make your appearance, me and mama love you pup" come from your wife and you looked down as she gave your stomach three kisses and the tears that were in your eyes slowly fell down your face "my sweet don't cry" you heard Autumn say before feeling her wrap you in her arms "they're happy tears my love, I'm just in shock that this is happening and hearing you talk to our baby for the first time like that is my favourite thing and I can't wait for you to do that and feel he or she to respond to your voice" you say into her chest and feel her kiss your head "we have so many things to look forward to and just getting to experience that with you is what I'm looking forward to" she told you and felt her place her hand on your stomach and slowly stroked your stomach.

You were both stood outside in a soft embrace enjoying this moment and let the news of you both becoming parents sink in, whilst cuddling Autumn you saw a car pull in the car park and you noticed it was Autumns brother Reece pulling in "my love, your brother has just pulled up would you like to tell him and Marjorie today" you ask her and let go of her and see her look at her brothers car before looking back at you "lets get the screaming over with" you heard her say and saw her put the onesie gently back in the bag before taking your hand and led you back into the building and towards the office. Entering the office you saw your brother in-law and Marjorie talking and you shut the door behind you when you and Autumn had entered the office which got their attention "is everything okay" you heard Marjorie ask you and saw her look at you with a concerned look on her face and you realised that you still had tear tracks and the odd tear falling on your face "everything is fine" you heard Autumn say which made you chuckle and quickly wiped your eyes free of any tears "if everything is fine, then why does Y/N have tears coming down her face" Reece asked this time and you smile at Autumn who looked at you "go ahead my love" you tell her and see her hand Reece the bag that you gave her and you knew she wasn't going to actually say it but rather let them find out in a fun way, you walked over to Autumn and covered her ears expecting to hear a scream come from Marjorie at any moment as soon as you covered Autumns ears you heard "OMG AAAAAHHHHHHHHH" come from Marjorie and you actually winced at how loud she was being but you looked over to see Marjorie and Reece looking at the onesie before looking at you both "you done Jorie" you say to Marjorie and saw her nod since she was trying to hold in her excitement "let it out Jorie, we both know you have to" you say not uncovering Autumns ears and looked at her face to see her glaring at Marjorie which softened when you came into her eyesight and soon you heard Marjorie letting her excitement out before hearing "I'm done, congratulation to you both, we can't wait to meet the little one and we won't say anything to anyone" come from her and you gently uncover Autumns ears and smiled at her in appreciation.

You both turned to Marjorie and Reece to see Reece stood in shock looking at the onesie in his hand and you looked at Autumn who walked over and kicked Reece in the shins "big brother do pull yourself together" you heard her say to him "ouch sis" you heard him say and saw him rub his shins "I'm going to be an uncle, I'm going to be an uncle, I'M GOING TO BE AN UNCLE" you heard him mumble before hearing him shout the last bit which made you laugh "and a good one at that" you heard Autumn say and you walked over to her and she pulled you in front of her and placed her hands on your stomach "that is going to be your new favourite spot" you say to her and felt her nod against you "so Y/N is the one carrying, how far along are you and when did you find out" Marjorie asked you and turning your attention to her you saw her looking at you with excitement in her eyes "I am the one carrying and we found out today, I found out this morning and Aut has just found out before we came to tell you and I'm 11 and half weeks" you explain and saw both Marjorie and Reece look at you in shock over the fact you have only just found out, chuckling you just lean back against Autumn and just cuddled closer to her "if you've only just found out then how come you have told us so soon" you heard Marjorie ask you and let out a breath before you spoke "mainly because we wanted you both to be the first to find out but also we have done 3 rounds of IVF before this and this time it has stuck, we was going to look at other options if this time didn't work, so we want to enjoy every moment with everyone" you explain and saw Marjorie's expression drop slightly when you revealed that you have been trying for a while and this is the first time it has happened "it's a very happy moment and we just want everyone to be happy and we just want everyone to be involved" Autumn explained for you this time which you were grateful for and leant your head back to look at her and smiled at her and turned to look back at Marjorie and Reece when you heard "so when are you due" come from Reece and you felt everyone stare at you even Autumn since she didn't even know "baby Knight is due 25th of December" you say and heard a little scream coming from Marjorie and felt Autumn tighten her grip slightly "a Christmas baby" you heard Reece say and you looked at him and nodded your head "yeah a Christmas baby" you say softly and place your hands over Autumns.
