Aunt Sorschie and Aunt Autie

Prompt: your sister and sister in-law meet your newborn for the first time 

TW: mentions fainting and fainting 

You had just given birth and was at home resting after being released from the hospital and have been home for one day and was excited for your sister to come round to meet your baby, sitting on the couch in the corner with your baby on your chest you heard "babe, do you need anything" come from your husband in the kitchen "no darling" you call back softly and rubbed your babies back to soothe them when they moved at your voice and looked over to see your husband come into the living room with a glass of juice and some fruit in a bowl "I know you said you didn't want anything but I wanted you to have a drink and snack" you hear him explain the drink and bowl in his hand and you smiled at him softly "thank you darling, what would we do without you" you say to him and give him a kiss when he bent down to give you a kiss on the forehead but you moved his head so it would land on your lips instead of your forehead. You broke the kiss and see him sit next to you and place his hand on your babies back on top of your own "I still can't believe we have a baby" you hear him whisper and you chuckle at his words "me either darling, I just can't stop staring" you say softly and kiss your babies head softly before feeling them shift on your chest and you looked up at the clock in the living room to see it was time for another feed and reached up to unlatch your nursing bra since you were only in your bra and shorts and got your baby latched properly to feed and leaned your head back still getting used to the sensation. You were still feeding your baby when you heard a soft knock on the door and saw your husband stand up to get the door "I think it is Sorschie" you say to him and adjust your baby in your arms whilst they fed and heard the door open before hearing "hiya Reece, congratulations" come from your sister and you turned your head to see your sister walk into the room with a few bags and smiled at her.

You felt your baby unlatch and moved them to your shoulder to burp whilst fastening your bra strap again and heard a soft "ohh, my little sis has a baby" come from Sorscha and you smile at her softly and chuckle at her wide eyed expression and heard a burp come from the newborn which made you chuckle again "hi Sorschie, come sit down" you say to her and see her put the bags down before sitting next to you on the couch, looking past Sorscha you saw your husband Reece smiling at you "darling can you pass Sorschie the hand sanitiser please" you ask him softly and see him pass Sorscha the sanitiser "here you go Sorscha" you hear Reece say and you smile as Sorscha puts the hand sanitiser on and lets her hands dry first. You see Sorscha turn to you and see her smile widely at you "how are you feeling" you hear her ask and you stroke your babies back whilst chuckling "sore, but so in love Sorschie, we just sit and just stare thinking how lucky we both are for this little one" you say to her and just look down at your newborn before looking back up at her "so I'm not here just to meet this cutie pie but I'm here to give you a hand, is there anything that needs doing like cleaning, washing or even putting stuff away that hasn't had the chance to put away" you hear Sorscha say and you share a smile with Reece who had sat next to you before shaking your head at Sorscha "no Reece has done the cleaning, washing and tidying this morning whilst me and bubba had a nap and I had a shower whilst Reece watched bubba" you say to her and see smile at you "well if you need anything doing let me know, I'm family and I want to help out when I can, Clodagh send her wishes and said when your ready for her and Quinn to come over then let us know, we understand just having one person round especially since Quinn is in her 'no' phase" you hear Sorscha say and you chuckle at your little 2 year old niece antics "we will do, but I think there is someone who wants to have a cuddle with their auntie Sorschie" you say and gently pass Sorscha your baby and moved your hands when she had them in a proper hold.

You relaxed into the couch and watched your sister hold your baby for the first time and felt tears well up in your eyes at the sight "you okay babe" you heard Reece ask and you nodded at him before wiping the tears "just the sight of my sister holding my baby for the first time" you say and feel him pull you gently in for a hug "ohh babe, it is a beautiful sight and I can't wait for Autumn to come round tomorrow to meet them" you hear Reece whisper and you just nod at him and kept your gaze on your sister with your baby, you sat up slightly and got Sorscha's attention "Sorschie, me and Reece would like to introduce you to your nephew" you say to her and see her look down at your baby "hi little man" you heard her whisper and you had to stop the tears from starting again before continuing speaking "and his name is Oliver Patrick Knight" you carry on telling her and what you heard next made the tears fall and heard "hi Ollie, I'm your auntie Sorschie and I will protect you with your other auntie with my life" come from Sorscha softly and you just let the tears fall completely down your face with out caring about anything "what's wrong, why you crying Buttons" you heard Sorscha ask you when she had noticed you had tears coming down your cheeks and you just wave her off and wipe your tears away "I'm fine Sorschie, just seeing you with my son and hearing what you said had caused me to become an emotional wreck" you admit to her and see her get an understanding look on her face "totally get ya, I was the same when you held Quinn for the first time and I wasn't the one who gave birth" you hear Sorscha say which made you chuckle since you remember her crying when you held Quinn for the first time after she was born. After a few minutes you saw Sorscha hand you back Oliver and you gently hand him over to Reece for some daddy cuddles whilst you chatted with Sorscha "babe, I'm going to change mister here we won't be long" you hear Reece a few minutes later and you nod at him "okay darling, have fun" you say with a smirk since Reece has been peed on the last few times he had changed Oliver and saw him roll his eyes at you, watching Reece leave the room you turn back to Sorscha who you saw was staring at you "so your 100% okay, no problems or anything" you hear her ask a few seconds later and you nodded at her "Sorschie we are both fine, it has been an adjustment but we know we have a village behind us when we need it but this week is just for us to get to know him properly but also for you and Autumn to meet him on your own like mum and dad did yesterday before we have loads of people round" you say to her and move slightly to sit nearer to her and see her nod at you "okay, but I'm here whenever you need, even if its just to vent or get something of your chest" you hear her say and you nod at her "I appreciate that Sorschie and if I need to I will take you up on that offer" you say to her and see her smile at you "so me and Autumn have a bet going and it was on if Reece fainted during the birth I said no and Autumn said yes" you heard her ask and you burst into laughter at the question and just kept on laughing at her question.
