Prompt: you find out some drastic news

AN: I sobbed whilst writing this so warning you might need some tissues 

You were sat in front of the doctor and didn't know what to say, you had been feeling unwell for weeks but thought it was just stress and had pushed it to the back of the mind but when you started to feel tired and achy you decided to go to the doctors and they took blood to see if everything was normal but now you have just got your results and just been told you had cancer "how bad" you ask your doctor "its not good, your prognosis is with treatment you get 6 months without it you get 4 months" you heard the doctor tells you which makes you sit back in your chair "thank you doctor, but I don't want the treatment just to live for another 2 months" you say to him and see him nod at you "this is your choice, as your doctor I say think about it but it is your choice overall" you heard him say "I don't need to think about it" you say before standing up "I want you to come back next week and we will talk about it more than" you heard him say whilst he stood up and you shake his hand before leaving the doctors office and made your way to your car and sit in your car and let the tears fall because of do you tell your brother and sister in-law the news. You dry your eyes before leaving to go home but before you left you messaged your brother to come round tonight with your sister in-law before setting off and headed home to process everything that you had just found out, you made it back home and walked in and just sat on your couch and didn't move just letting the news settle in and that you wouldn't be around for much longer.

You heard the doorbell ring and you slowly stood up before drying your eyes and walked to answer the door but before you opened it you tried to put a brave smile on and opened the door for your brother and sister in-law "come in" you say to them and move to let them in and see them walk in and take their shoes off before following you into the living room "Y/N is everything okay" you heard your brother Winter ask you as you sat down on the couch and see them sit on the couch opposite you and you looked at them before putting your head down "Y/N" you heard Winter whisper "as you both know I haven't been feeling well for a couple of weeks" you start to say and look at Winter and Autumn to see them nodding at you "well I went to the doctors last week and they took my bloods and I got my results today" you say and see them both sit up straight "is everything okay" you heard Autumn ask you "its not good news, I have cancer" you say and heard them gasp and you look at them to see Winter holding back his tears "so you start treatment right" you heard Winter ask and you let out a sigh "I have 4 months" you say gently and see Winter let his tears fall "but what about treatment or something" you heard Autumn ask gently "with treatment I have 6 months but I'm not doing treatment" you say and see them both sink back into the couch "you have to at least try" you heard Winter whisper "Winter if the doctor told me with treatment I would live I would do it but he didn't" you say and feel your tears gently fall "I haven't hid anything from you, I found out today" you tell them and see Autumn stand up and walk over to you and feel her sit down next to you and bring you in for a hug "we are going to be with you" you heard her say and you wrap your arms around her "I have an appointment with the doctor next week would you both come with me please" you say quietly into Autumns chest "absolutely" you heard Autumn whisper to you and feel Winter wrap his arms around you.

Winter walked into work the following week after going to your appointment with you and he felt like his mind was reeling with everything the doctor had said and he couldn't imagine what you were feeling, he headed to the office and walked into the see Autumn and Marjorie at their desks "my sweet how is she" he heard Autumn whisper to him and he looked up to see her looking at him "she's contacting her lawyers and putting things into motion" he says and sits in the chair in front of Autumns desk and felt Autumn wrap her arms around him "we will help with everything okay, all you can do is be there for her" he heard her whisper and he nodded before standing up and leave the room "I love you my love" he says and heard "I love you too my sweet" come from her and he left the room and headed to the room he was working in. Autumn watched Winter leave the office and moved back to her desk before pulling out her phone and rang your number "hello" she heard your voice say "hi Y/N, just ringing to see how you doing" she asked down the phone "hi Aut, I'm okay tired but just getting things in order" she heard you say "I was wondering if you was feeling up to surprising Winter for lunch at work" she asked knowing that if Winter saw you out your house he would feel slightly better "sure, would you be able to pick me up" she heard you ask "yeah I can, I'm sure Winter would love to have lunch with you" she says and heard you chuckle "ring me when you are outside, I need to go and get things sorted" she heard you say and she knew you was getting upset but was hiding it "that's fine I will see you later" she says before hanging up the phone and turned to see Marjorie looking at her "no questions Marjorie" she says before turning back to her computer.
