Marjorie was rubbing your back slowly whilst you slept on her chest and she turned to look at her husband to see him standing up from the bed slowly "where you going" she asked him and saw him turn to look at her "I'm going to grab Aut and go to get some of her things" she heard him whisper and she nodded at him before watching him leave the room but quickly saw him come back into the room "do you know if she has a key for her house" she heard him ask and she let out a sigh before slowly moving to rub your back to wake you up "sweetie, have you got a key to your house" she asked you when she saw you wake up slightly "bag ma" she heard you mumble and she nodded before letting you go back to sleep "her bag is downstairs near the door" she tells Reece and she sees him nod before leaving the room and she let you sleep on her chest before deciding to read her book she had bought. Marjorie was slowly reading her book when she felt you shift on her chest and she put her book to one side on the bed so she could focus on you for a moment, she looked down to notice you weren't waking up and she recognised that you were having a nightmare "sweetie" she whispered to try and wake you up before the nightmare could get any worse "no...help...please" she heard you mumble and she sat up a bit hoping the movement would wake you slightly "sweetie come on wake up for me" she says whilst rubbing your back a bit harder and she saw your eyes flutter open before seeing them fill with tears quickly "ma..." she heard you mumble through tears and she felt you hide your head into her chest "I'm here sweetie, it was a nightmare nothing can happen" she whispered to you whilst moving you up so you could here her heartbeat to help calm you down further since she could tell you were struggling to calm down "ma is here sweetie" she whispered and she felt you play with her hair again slowly and after a few minutes she felt you slowly calm down "can you tell me what happened sweetie" she asked you softly and saw you shake your head at her and she knew not to push you if she didn't want you to shut down fully "okay, let just calm down a bit more first" she says to you and felt you cuddle into her chest even more and she just continued to rub your back slowly as you calmed down.

You were playing with Marjorie's hair whilst you listened to her heartbeat and you didn't understand why her heartbeat calmed you down so quickly and you slowly moved to look up at Marjorie to see her looking down at you with a small smile on her face "you okay sweetie" you heard her ask and you nodded your head slowly before responding "yeah, your heartbeat helps but I don't know why" you say to her which caused you to feel and hear her chuckle since you were on her chest and felt the vibration of her chuckle "I don't know why either sweetie, maybe because you haven't had that type of comfort before and your brain is just letting you have that comfort" you heard her say and you just responded by shrugging your shoulders at her "maybe" you mumble to her before shifting on her chest and heard "sweetie why don't we go get some lunch" come from her and you slowly nodded your head before climbing off her chest and slowly standing from the bed and waited for Marjorie to stand up from the bed before following her down the stairs and into the kitchen "take a seat and I will make us some sandwiches" you heard her say and you see her point to the table in the kitchen so you made your way to the table and sit down at the table whilst you waited for Marjorie to make the sandwiches. Whilst Marjorie was making the sandwiches you played with your sleaves of your jumper "ma" you whisper from the table and saw Marjorie stop making the sandwiches to look at you "yeah sweetie" you heard her ask and you slowly turn to look at her "where did pa go" you say quietly "he went to get some of your things with Autumn, why sweetie" you heard her ask and you just nod at her before going back to playing with your sleaves "sweetie" you heard Marjorie ask which made you look up at her again "I thought he left for good" you whisper and go back to looking down at the table whilst you played with your sleaves but you heard a clunk before hearing footsteps walking towards you and soon felt your head being lifted and you saw Marjorie stood in front of you "sweetie, he hasn't left for good he will be back soon I promise" you heard her say before feeling her place a kiss on your forehead and you nod at her before seeing go back to making the sandwiches "when will he be back" you ask her and heard "I'm not sure but he won't be long I'm sure sweetie" come from her which made you slightly less on edge.
