Prompt: you and your wife tell your family some news

You walked up the path to your mums house holding Carly's hand feeling nervous about telling your mum and step-mum the news you had to give them, you were also telling your dad and other step-mum the news as well later but for now you were more nervous to tell your mum even though you were 25 and an adult it was still daunting to tell her, you knocked on the door before walking in "mum, Char" you shout out into the house and heard "we are in the garden sweetie" come from your mum and you held Carly's hand as you walked through the house and was shocked to see your mum, Char, your dad and Marjorie all sat in the garden not expecting to see everyone together "hi mum, dad, char and Marjie" you say and give everyone hugs when they greeted you and Carly "what you doing here sweetie" you heard your mum ask you "can't I visit my mum and step-mum" you say and sit down on Carly's lap when she sat on the empty chair "yeah you can I suppose" you heard her say "why are you all together" you say whilst leaning against Carly "we have weekly catch ups since we co-parent" you heard your dad say which made you roll your eyes at them "try again" you say and raise your eyebrow at him "you are so much like your aunt its unreal" you heard Marjorie say to you which made you chuckle at her whilst shaking your head at her.

You sit at the table just catching up with your parents when you felt Carly nudge your shoulder "where did you put everyone's presents" you heard her ask you in a whisper so no one could hear her "in the boot of the car" you whisper back and feel her nod against your shoulder "I'll grab them in a minute" you whisper to her and turned to see your mum and dad staring at you "is everything okay" you heard your mum ask you "yeah mum, everything is fine" you say to her hoping she would believe you and not pick up on that you were lying to her but saw her glare at you "just give me a minute" you say and stand up from Carly's lap and headed through the house back to the car to grab the surprise you have for everyone and carried 4 gift bags back through to the garden and saw everyone looking at you "so me and Carly have been hiding a secret and we can finally tell you" you say and quickly read the labels to make sure you give everyone the right gift bag before sitting on Carly's lap again "open them" you say and see your mum reach in first and saw her pull out a tiny t-shirt before she pulled out a board before hearing her gasp when she held up the t-shirt that said -surprise your going to be grandparents on it before hearing another 3 gasps when you saw everyone pull out the same t shirts and board that read 'Baby Roberts-Knight Due December' and you heard "YOU'RE WHAT" coming from your dad which made you laugh "I'm pregnant" you say to them and feel Carly rub your small bump "OMG OMG OMG MY BABY IS HAVING A BABY" you heard your mum freak out and you saw your dad staring at the t-shirt and board before glancing at you.

When Mia read the small t-shirt then saw the board she was in shock, she couldn't believe you were having a baby but when she heard you say "I'm pregnant" it made it even more real especially when she saw Carly rub your stomach which was suddenly visible to her eyes and she started to freak out "OMG OMG OMG MY BABY IS HAVING A BABY" she screamed and started to feel tears in her eyes from all the emotions she was feeling, she stood up and put everything on the table before going over to where you were sat on Carly's lap and brought you in for a soft hug before doing the same with Carly "congratulations to you both" she says whilst letting go off you and Carly before going back to her seat "thank you mama, you 3 need to decide on who is being called what" she heard you say whilst pointing at herself, Charlotte and Marjorie and she turned to face you "what do you mean sweetie" she asked you "well who is going to be nana, nan and grandma or whatever you want to be called" she heard you say and she looked at Marjorie and Charlotte before shrugging her shoulders "we will decide on something" she says to you whilst sitting back down next to Charlotte.
