Movie Night

Prompt: you persuade your mums to have a Christmas movie night

Walking into the nursery where you mums work after finish school for the term and you was in the Christmas spirit since you had been having fun in school for the last day but also it was only a half day at school so you were let out early for the day and agreed to meet your mums at their work since they were also on a half day but they get out a bit later then you do but you didn't mind since you could just relax in their office until they finished for the day, slowly walking down the corridor to your mums office you could hear Christmas music playing throughout the nursery that your mums work at and it made you even more excited for Christmas but you knew your mumma didn't really like Christmas whilst your mama did like you and your mumma always grumbles that you are too much alike with your mama which you found funny since you were a spitting image of your mumma when she was your age long ago but you found the time of year to be just happy and full of joy which made you excited but also it let you spend time with your mums outside of your busy schedule and their own schedule due to having no work or school to keep you all busy. Entering the office you saw your mama at her desk and looked around to see your mumma not in the office "hi mama" you greet your mama when you walk further into the office and saw her look up at the sound of your voice "hi sweetie, have a good last day of school before Christmas" you heard her ask you softly and you nodded at her and sat down in your mumma's chair that was empty "yeah mama, we spent the day having our Christmas party" you tell her with a smile before getting an idea "mama" you say before she could say anything to you "yeah sweetie" you heard her ask you and saw her turn to look at you "could we have a Christmas movie night tonight please" you say to her whilst giving her the puppy dog eyes knowing she will give in when you pull out your puppy dog eyes at her and heard her laugh at you softly "I'm not the one you need to convince sweetie" you heard her say and you nodded at her since you knew she was right and you would need to convince your mumma to watch Christmas films with you and your mama knowing your mumma was a proper grinch when it comes to Christmas but you also knew she couldn't say no to you sometimes which made you smirk at your mama before seeing her shake her head at your determined face you were pulling.

You was curled up on your mumma's chair reading your book when you heard footsteps coming into the office and looked over your book to see your mumma come into the office carrying paperwork in her hand before seeing her turn to face you when you saw her briefly look at you when she came into the room "hi pup" you heard your mumma say and you smile at her before looking at your mama briefly and turned back to face your mumma "hi mumma" you say in a sweet voice and smile at her sweetly and saw her narrow her eyes at you "what do you want" you heard her ask and you just smile at her before batting your eyelids at her whilst placing your book down on her desk "why do you say that" you say to her with a tilt of your head and watched as your mumma put the paperwork in her hand on the desk before seeing her walk round the desk and felt her pull you out her chair before sitting in it and you jumped onto her lap and cuddled into her "this is why" you hear her say but felt her wrap an arm around you before feeling her pull you closer to her but also to stop you from falling off her lap "I don't know what your talking about mumma, I'm just happy to see you that's all" you say to her and rest your head against her chest and let her heartbeat help you relax "why do I think pup is lying my sweet" you heard your mumma ask your mama and heard your mama laugh at your mumma slightly and you looked over to see your mama trying to stop her laughter "I'm not lying" you say to your mumma and leaned back slightly to look her in the eye before seeing her reach up to tap you on the nose lightly "your not fooling me pup, what is it" you heard her ask and you let out a sigh from being caught out by your mumma and looked up at her. Looking up at your mumma you smiled at her widely before pulling out your puppy dog eyes before asking "can we please have a Christmas movie night tonight mumma pwease" to your mumma and made your eyes go really wide and pouted at her before huffing when you heard a strong "no" come from your mumma but you didn't give up "pwease mumma" you say and looked down before making your eyes look up at her slightly and let your lower lip wobble before hearing "not working pup" come from your mumma and you decided to bring out the big guns that will make her change her mind "mama said we could and we can even watch 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' since it is a dark Christmas film, mumma pwease just this once" you plead with her and moved so you were looking her in the eyes and made her look at you but you huffed when you saw her smirk and heard "nope" come from her and you climbed off her lap before going to your mama and sat on her lap instead and turned away from your mumma.
