Houdini's

You arrived home to hear music coming from upstairs and knew your 15 year old daughter Tia was playing the music to help drown out the music that was coming from the living room that your 10 year old twins Jaime and Nancy were playing was from the WII and knew they were playing Just Dance, walking into the kitchen you saw your wife Janice in the kitchen cooking dinner for the family "see its chaotic here" you say with a chuckle and see her turn to face you "it is darling, you should know that it is every night like this" you heard her say which you nodded at "can you call the crazies for dinner" you heard Janice ask you with a smile "sure my darling" you say with a smile before walking back to the bottom of the stairs "MINI HOUDINI DINNER" you shout before walking into the living room "little Houdini and chaos Houdini dinner, pause the game now" you say to the twins and saw they do as you asked before hearing footsteps coming down the stairs "hi mama" you heard your eldest say to you "hi mini Houdini, mum has dinner on the table" you say to her before leading Jaime and Nancy into the dining room "mama can we play again after dinner" you heard Jaime ask you "sure little Houdini but only for an hour then its time to settle down" you say and helped them sit down at the table "Tia darling phone away" you heard Janice say with a loving smile on her face to Tia "sorry mum" you heard Tia respond to Janice and you sit next to Janice and started to eat your food that was sitting in front of you that Janice had placed in front of you "thank you darling" you say to her after swallowing the first bite. You watched your family eat the dinner before seeing Nancy start to bounce in her seat slightly "chaos Houdini" you say in a warning voice knowing the only reason she would be bouncing is due to having sugar and saw her stop bouncing slightly from hearing your voice, you felt a hand on your thigh which made you look over to see Janice smiling at you softly "what has Nancy done" you hear her ask you in a whisper "she is bouncing in her seat, I think she has had sugar" you whisper back and looked back over to see Nancy bouncing in her seat again and saw Tia looking anywhere but at Nancy and Jaime "mini what have done" you say to Tia and saw her look at you quickly before looking away "Tia" you heard Janice say in a warning tone and you saw Tia put her fork down "I might of given the twins sugar earlier when I collected them from school" you heard Tia say quietly and you pinched the bridge of your nose at her admission.

Looking over at Tia you saw Nancy stand up before seeing her rush out the room "NANCY" you heard Janice shout in shock and you narrow your eyes at Tia "how much did you give them" you say before hearing "WEEEEEEE" come from the living room "not that much to cause this" you heard Tia admit and you knew that she was telling the truth "great" you heard Jaime mumble and you see her roll her eyes at her twin sister antics "how much has she had" you ask Jaime softly "I don't really know mama" you heard Jaime tell you "okay, you finish your dinner and I will go deal with the tornado of chaos Houdini" you say whilst standing up from the dining table "are you sure" you heard Janice ask and you bent down to give her a kiss on the lips "I'm sure, she takes after me in this aspect" you say with a chuckle before leaving the dining room and walked into the living room to see Nancy jumping on the couch "off the couch" you say and see her jump of the couch before rushing out the room and up the stairs before hearing her run back down the stairs and you decided to let her run it out instead of trying to stop her knowing it would make her worse. Walking back into the dining room you help Janice clear the table with Tia's help before leading Jaime up the stairs with Janice whilst seeing Nancy run around the living room "how much longer will this last for mama" you heard Jaime ask whilst walking up the stairs "we don't know little Houdini" you heard Janice say softly to Jaime whilst Janice took her to the twins bedroom whilst you walked down to Tia's room "mini Houdini have you got all your school work done" you ask whilst leaning against the door frame "yeah mama, I'm up to date and everything" you heard Tia tell you from her bed "good mini Houdini" you say with a nod of your head and heard "I'm sorry for giving Nancy sugar, it was only a lollypop that I gave her" come from Tia and you walked into the room and sat on the edge of her bed "its fine, this wasn't caused by you, I have a feeling she has been sneaking it since she has been home, me and mum will find the stash" you say with a chuckle and give Tia a kiss on the forehead before standing back up from the bed "you know the rules, 9pm no phone or IPAD but you have to be in bed by 10pm" you say to her before leaving the room and heard her turn the music she was playing when you came home.

Walking down the hall and entering the twins room you were shocked to see Janice dumping bags of sweets onto Nancy's bed "where did you find that" you asked in shock and saw Janice turn to look at you with a glare "under her bed" you heard Janice say and you nod before turning to look at Jaime who was sat on her bed with a book "did you know that was there" you asked Jaime and saw her nod at you "twin secret" you heard her mumble and you just shake your head at her "this is unacceptable little Houdini you are not to keep secrets like this" you say before seeing Janice grab one more bag from under the bed "that's everything" you heard Janice say with a huff and you walked further over to the bed and saw 5 bags worth of sweets sat on Nancy's bed and you shook your head before storming out the room "NANCY" you shouted and heard a loud bang that caused you to stop when you saw Tia and Janice rush out the rooms they were in after hearing the bang "NANCY" you shout and rush down the stairs with Janice closely behind. Entering the living room you saw cushions thrown everywhere and the coffee table tipped over on the side that made you assume was the loud bang you had heard but what made you and Janice stop was your daughter jumping back and forth over the knocked over table "NANCY" you shout and saw her stop jumping "himamamumifeelamazing" you heard Nancy spit out so quickly you didn't catch what she said fully "come here chaos" you mumble and slowly walk over to Nancy "come to mama" you say to her and see her look between you and Janice before seeing her quickly try to leave the room but you saw Janice grab her "no you don't Nancy" you heard Janice say and see her pick up Nancy "TIA" you shout and heard fast footsteps on the stairs and see Tia appear in the door way and see her look around the room in shock "what in the world" you heard her mumble "can you do me and your mum a favour and clean this up whilst we deal with the dangerous duo" you ask nicely and see her nod at you and Janice "thank you mini Houdini" you say gratefully to your eldest before following Janice out the room with Nancy over her shoulder.

Walking back up the stairs you follow Janice into the twin's room and you shut the door behind you so that Nancy couldn't get out and cause anymore chaos in her path before seeing Janice put Nancy on the floor "sit" you say sternly and see Nancy sit but bounce in her seat next to Jaime and you stand behind Nancy's bed that had the sweets on it "this is unacceptable" you heard Janice start to speak to Jaime and Nancy but you knew Nancy wouldn't be listening at all "hiding sweets like this under your bed is not okay, there is a reason why we don't let you have a lot of sweets and the reason is currently sat bouncing" you carry on speaking from Janice and point to Nancy who was still bouncing in her seat "and five bags of sweets is just unbelievable, how long has this been under her bed" you heard Janice ask and heard "a few days" come from Jaime and you share a shocked look with Janice before turning back to Jaime and Nancy "a few days, where has it come from" you asked this time in shock "people at school know what Nancy is like on sugar and give it to her" you heard Jaime explain and you just shake your head at your daughters "from now on me and your mama will be searching your room every night and after school we will be making sure that you don't bring home sweets" you heard Jancie say and saw Jaime nod at you and Janice slowly "okay mama, mum I'm sorry for not saying anything" you heard Jaime say softly and you smile at her "little Houdini you know better and for this you will be grounded for 1 week" you say sternly to her "okay mama I understand" you heard Jaime say and you give her a hug before passing her to Janice "and Nancy here will be grounded for 2 weeks, 1 week for the hiding of the sweets and 1 week for destroying the living room" you heard Janice explain but you knew Nancy wasn't paying any attention to you or Janice due to the sugar coursing through her veins. You shook your head at your youngest daughters antics because you knew she was just like you on a sugar rush when you were younger, looking at Janice you shared a smile before turning back to Nancy "she should crash soon" you say to Janice and moved to open the door to check on Tia "MINI HOUDINI HOWS THE LIVING ROOM" you shout from the doorway and stopped Nancy from running out the room "DONE MAMA" you heard Tia shout back to you from downstairs "OKAY LOVE, THANK YOU, I'LL GET YOU A TREAT THIS WEEKEND" you shout back before closing the door to keep Nancy from getting out again "right little Houdini get ready for bed please and we will take chaos Houdini with us until she crashes" you say to Jaime and picked up Nancy to carry her out the room "omgomgomg" you heard Nancy say quickly "shush chaos Houdini settle" you whisper whilst fully leaving the room with Janice and Nancy "she is never having a bit of sugar again" you heard Janice say as you carried Nancy down to bedroom you shared with your wife.
