Christmas Surprise

Prompt: its Christmas time, you and your wife surprise your friends with a fun Christmas present with an amazing twist

You were cuddled up with your wife on the sofa watching your  4 year old son and daughter open their presents, you and Mia where waiting for everyone to arrive since you both invited everyone to spend Christmas with them so they weren't on their own and everyone could be together, you quickly jump off the couch and rush to the bathroom and vomited into the toilet and felt Mia move your hair from your face and felt her rub your back and slowly feel the sickness end and felt like you could move away from the toilet "you feeling better" you heard Mia ask and you nodded to her and moved to brush your teeth and swill your mouth out to get rid of the vomit taste from your mouth "yeah, I will be glad when this part is over" you say and lean into her when you felt her hug you from behind "I know I'm hoping it's not going to be like when you were pregnant with the twins since you suffered with this all the way through" you heard her say and you remember how bad it was when you were pregnant with your now 4 year olds "mama, mumma" you heard your son Aiden shout "coming little man" you say to him and you both leave the bathroom and enter the living room to see Aiden and his twin sister Addison stood near the couch "what's wrong babies" you ask them and then you heard the door being knocked on "thank you for letting us know and not answering it" you tell them and see Mia walk over to the door to open the door to reveal your friends and heard "AUNT AUTUMN, UNCLE REECE" being shouted by your children "inside voices Aiden, Addison" you say to them but was ignored and saw them rush to their aunt and uncle with excited squeals and you walk over to greet everyone "merry Christmas everyone, come in and head into the living room" you say whilst hugging everyone "Aiden, Addison say hello to your other aunts and uncle" you say to your children and saw them do as you asked and herded them to the living room.

You entered the living room to see Aiden and Addison back on the floor with their pile of presents and saw everyone was sat around the room and talking whilst they sorted out the gifts for everyone and you smiled at the large group and you couldn't wait to reveal your secret that you and Mia had been keeping, you moved to sit with your children and saw Mia carrying in a tray off drinks for everyone and saw her wink at you "is everyone ready to open presents" you asked everyone and saw them nod whilst they took their drinks off Mia whilst thanking her "lets get to it" you say and saw Mia sit next to Addison to help her open her presents whilst you help Aiden with his, you share a smile with Mia when you felt her grab your hand before going back to your son "wow little man, that is so cool" you say to him when he showed you the present he had just opened "what do we say" you ask him "thank you aunt Marjie and uncle Reece" you heard him say when you told him who it was from "well done" you whisper to him and pulled him to sit in between your legs instead of your lap since you were feeling queasy again and wanted to have an easy route to the bathroom if you needed it. You and Mia switched places so you were helping Addison whilst Mia helped Aiden and you pulled your daughters hair back from her face and quickly tied it up so it wouldn't get in her way "thank you mama" you heard her say to you "your welcome princess" you say before feeling your stomach turn and you slowly but quickly stood up and excused yourself before rushing to the bathroom and shut the door behind you and was sick into the toilet again for the second time that day, you heard the door open slowly and heard "sweetheart, you okay" come from Mia and you groaned before being sick again in the toilet.

You walked back into the living room and saw everyone look at you and Mia before you sat back on the floor "you okay Y/N" you heard Marjorie ask you "yeah I'm fine, just need the toilet" you say before turning back to Addison and helped her finish opening her presents whilst Mia helped Aiden, once your children were busy playing with their new toys you looked at Mia and saw her nod, you stood up and went to the tree and pulled out small gifts bags and handed one to each person before sitting back down next to Mia "you have to wait to get your actual present since it's not here yet but in the bags are clues that if you put together will tell you what the present is" you explain and see everyone open the bag and each person pulled out a smaller bag that had pieces in it "these are jigsaw pieces" you heard Charlotte say "yeah but your own jigsaw pieces go with someone else" you say and see them move to the floor and try to work out the puzzle, you lean back into Mia and watch your friends try to work out what goes with what, when you first found out you was pregnant you and Mia automatically knew you would be telling them on Christmas day and you had gotten a customized jigsaw done of an ultrasound with the words 'baby Y/L/N-Roberts Due June" since you were three months and 2 days along, but to make it more fun Mia suggested giving each person a handful of the jigsaw to make them work together to find out which you agreed to and you were wearing pjs that had 'mumma' 'mama' 'big sister' and 'big brother' and yours had 'baby' on it where your bump would be if you were further along and you both slowly take of your dressing gowns off and got Aiden and Addison to take theirs off as well when you saw everyone working it out but they hadn't seen the picture since it was a jigsaw that had to be worked upside down so they only saw the back at the moment that had numbers on the pieces.

You shifted to bring Aiden and Addison to you and Mia when you saw them finish the jigsaw "once it's done flip it over" you heard Mia say and felt her kiss your cheek as you watched Reece flip it over before seeing them read the words and heard "OMG YOUR PREGNANT" being screamed by everyone and you stood up and showed everyone the pjs you were all wearing and saw them look at you both in shock "OMG CONGRATULATIONS" you heard Autumn shout unexpectedly and saw her rush over to give you a hug "you didn't need the toilet before did you" you heard Marjorie ask and you let go of Autumn before accepting the hug of Sorscha "no morning sickness is quiet bad at the moment" you say with a groan "ohh god I remember you being pregnant with these two munchkins and nothing would stay down" you heard Autumn say which got a laugh out of Mia but heard her stop when you glared at her "well this time it's only one baby so it shouldn't be too bad" you say to everyone and felt Mia wrap her arms round your waist.

Letting go off Mia you walked over to where the jigsaw was on the floor before picking it up and putting it on the fire place so it was on show "how far along are you" you heard Sorscha ask and you turned to face the group "I'm currently 12 weeks and 2 days" you answer and sit on the couch since the floor was hurting you after sitting on the floor for a while, you looked over to see Mia playing with Aiden and Addison which brought a smile to your face when you heard their laughter and felt someone sit next to you and turned to see Autumn "you've got a good family" you heard Autumn say and you smile at her before leaning your head on her shoulder before feeling someone sit on the other side and looked up to see Reece sitting on your other side "I'm glad she found you, that is the Mia we remember being with us" you heard him say and you looked between the siblings and brought them in for a quick hug "well life is crazy but I'm glad I found her, she saved me when I didn't know I needed saving" you admit and gaze at your wife and children playing together before putting your hand on your stomach "and it's only going to be crazier" you say to them which made you all laugh "so are you sticking with the A theme initial or going completely different when naming this baby" you heard Reece ask and you shook your head at the question "Aiden is already named after you Reece but I think we might keep it going or might do my initial instead of Mia's" you say since that is how you came up with the twins name since Mia is 'Amelia' you both went the A initial for the twins. You looked down when you felt tiny hands touch your leg and see Addison had come over to you "hi princess, is everything okay" you asked her and saw her reach out to you so you gently lifted her on your lap and felt her cuddle in close to you "are you tired" you ask her and feel her nod against your chance "okay" you whisper and slowly stand up and walked out the room with her in your arms and got her comfy against your chest and slowly rocked her as you walked up and down the hallway softly singing in her ear and you slowly felt her go heavy in your arms but you carried on walking the hallway to make sure she was asleep before walking back into the living room and placed her down on the couch before covering her with a throw of the blanket and saw Mia doing the same on the other couch with Aiden "they seem to always do this" you heard Autumn whisper "since they were little" you say and gave Addison a kiss on the forehead before doing the same with Aiden whilst Mia gave Addison a kiss "how are they five in a few months and starting school in September" you whisper to Mia and saw her give you a cuddle.
