The Rat (Part 9 of Dumped)

An: this is the last one for now that will be posted in this book...however it is now its own book called Allegiance Within

In the middle of the Knight allegiance there was a rat who had worked for years to gain the trust of the Lord and finally did it when they became business partners but what the Lord didn't know is that his partner was the one he shouldn't trust but the rat had made the Lord trust him, the reason for the rat to gain the trust is because his middle child was took by the Knight allegiance and he wanted to keep her safe because he was the reason she got took in the first place he had turned away and she had wandered off from him but once he had found out where his middle daughter he knew he had to gain the trust of Lord Knight but he and his eldest child who knew him but didn't know about her younger siblings due to the rat keeping his 3 children separate to keep them safe, his middle child was with him whilst his eldest was with her mother and his youngest was with an adopted family who didn't work for either side and he made sure that all three siblings didn't know each other to keep them all safe. The rat had worked for years to keep his middle child safe and after hearing what he had about how the Lord wanted his middle child dead he knew it was time to get his plan in motion and knew he had to get the information to his daughter so she could pass it on to the VG Allegiance to make them aware what the Lord had planned for his middle child, he left his hiding place in the mansion that was near the room the meeting was held in and quickly left the mansion without being seen by anyone, reaching his new destination he saw a cloaked figure stood hidden and he quickly rushed over to the person "have they met yet" he asked the person and saw the cloaked person turn to him "I just left their meeting when I got your alert to meet you" he heard the person say and he nodded "very well, I need you to let them know that Autumn is in danger and needs to be hidden, the Lord wants her dead" he explains to the person and saw them slowly nod at him "why does he want her dead, why would he want his own daughter dead" he heard the person ask and he let out a sigh before looking around to make sure nobody was nearby "she isn't his daughter, she was took by one of his scouts" he says to the person and saw them nod at him slowly "I will pass the message on to the queens" he heard the person say and he nodded before hearing his phone ping and saw it was a message from the Lord "I must go, get that message to the queens promptly and be safe" he says and saw the person nod before hearing "I will and keep safe don't let your guard down father" come from the person who he called daughter "I will Maddison and I will be in touch" he says before rushing off leaving his eldest child to get his message to the queens.

The rat made it back to the Knight mansion and made his way to the Lords office before entering after knocking on the door "aahh Mac there you are" he heard Roger say as he walked in to the office and he nodded at the man "yes Roger, what is this meeting for" Mac says as he walked further into the office and sat down in the chair opposite Roger's desk "Mac I need to find out who let the girl go, I need her back in that basement" he heard the man go on and he just wanted to smack the older man because his anger against the girl wasn't even necessary "Roger your vendetta against the girl is now becoming slightly obsessive and all because her mother nearly took you down at the same age, you need to direct your anger at her mothers because that will hurt the girl more if you take her mothers away from her" he explained to Roger and he hated that he had to suggest that as an option because he didn't want this man to win whatever happens and he saw Roger glare at him before seeing him slowly nod at him "your right Mac, you are absolutely right and I need to make a plan this instant if I can take down her mother's than I can take her down and this will break the girl even after I tortured her for three years in this very house" he heard Roger say and he hid the snarl he wanted to let out at Roger for how happy Roger sounded when he talked about the torture that the girl had gone through and Mac saw some of the torture and if it wasn't for keeping his daughters safe he would've revealed himself sooner to stop the torture that Roger put the young girl through. Mac moved to stand up from his chair to make his way from the man in front of him "if that is everything Roger than I must be off I have some business to take care off" he says before seeing the man nod at him before leaving the office and he made his way down the hallway and back out the mansion trying to stay calm before pulling out his phone and erasing any evidence of the message he had sent Rogers son Reece to let the girl go back to her mothers since it was him who had messaged Reece as Roger because he wanted the girl to be back with her mothers and safe from the sadistic man that he had left in the office before climbing into his car and drove off back to his home to try and put a stop to Rogers plans or try to stall the plans somehow and as he drove down the street he prayed that all his daughters were safe and that nobody knew that they were his daughters and they were the daughters of Mac Serpent and the nieces of Siobhan Serpent.
