Breakdown

Prompt: your autistic and one of your colleagues causes you to have a breakdown after they bully you

AN: I'm not autistic so I have done this with so much care and was requested by @Annablel, I hope you enjoy this since like I said I have done this with much care to not offend anyone 

Everyone at the nursery knew there was something different about you but they didn't know what it was exactly apart from Autumn and Winter since they found out when Winter had figured out, whilst only 2 members of staff knew you had autism you liked to keep it hidden because growing up you had faced discrimination for it and decided to not let anyone know and if they figured it out then you wasn't bothered by them knowing, you walked into the nursery will a slight bounce in your step and made your way to the office but you were slightly overwhelmed due to your routine being changed slightly but you handled it the best you could and due to the overwhelming feeling you had lost the ability to use your vocal cords so was mute but other than that you had tried to push the feeling away to try a get through the day. Entering the office you noticed Autumn and Marjorie was in the office and heard "morning Y/N" you heard Marjorie greet you and you nodded at her before moving to the sign in sheet "you okay Y/N" you heard Marjorie ask and you turned to look at her and nodded at her before turning to look at Autumn and hummed at her since you only could make humming noises at the moment "ohh Marjorie Y/N lost her voice yesterday so I told her she could be quiet today and be with Winter and Sorscha in the preschool room as a spare" you heard Autumn explain to Marjorie and you nodded at Marjorie who you saw was watching you closely from her seat "that's fine, if you need anything then let Winter or Sorscha know" you heard Marjorie say and you nodded at her before leaving the room to head down to the preschool room and as you walked down the corridor you were stopped by "pup wait up" being called by Autumn and you turned to face her and see her walking quickly "your overwhelmed right now" you heard Autumn ask and you nodded at her whilst looking round the corridor "okay, I will let Winter know okay but if you need anything then let me or Winter know" you heard Autumn say quietly and you nodded before walking down the corridor with Autumn but you hadn't realised someone was listening to your conversation with Autumn.

You were in the breakroom playing with a fidget toy on your lunch with your lunch in front of you but haven't eaten anything yet since you were busy playing with the toy in your hand when you heard the door open and you looked up to see Eric walking into the room "you alright mute case" you heard him say and you just looked up at him with a confused look "can't respond can you mute case" you heard him say and you just stop playing with the toy in your hand not understanding what he was going on about "I overheard Autumn talking to you, your autistic which I find funny because it explains why you act so weird" you heard him carry on talking and you just sat there listening to what he was saying and you couldn't understand why he was being cruel "flappy hands are making an appearance like a bird" you heard him say and you quickly put your hands down your side once he had pointed out what your hands were doing, you slowly stood up from the table and tried to leave the room but was stopped by Eric gripping your arm so you couldn't leave and you tried to get your arm free but couldn't since he had tightened his grip "you don't like loud noises do you mutes" you heard him say and felt him let you go once he had dragged you to the other side of the room and you heard him turn on music to the loudest volume which made you cover your ears but you noticed he had put the speaker he had used on a high shelf before seeing him leave the room leaving you with the speaker. You rushed to the door and tried to open it but you noticed it was locked which made you start to panic but with the loud noise and Erics words in your mind you started to get over stimulated with everything and slowly let yourself start to pace as you tried to block out the noise but it was too loud for you to block out, you were sat in the corner of the breakroom rocking with your hands over your ears to try and ground yourself but everything you did wasn't working and slowly started to rock yourself hard enough that you were smacking your head on the wall behind you which was bring some sort of comfort since it was making you focus on the pain instead of the loud noise, you had been rocking for a while and hadn't realised that someone was trying to get in the room since you were stuck in your mind.
