You and Carly were at home in bed and was just relaxing since you were due any day now and you were both getting anxious about the birth of your baby, the last few months have gone fast and everyone from the nursery have helped you both get everything sorted and ready for your baby to arrive and you knew everyone was excited but you didn't know who was more excited Marjorie or Autumn, ever since you had told them you were pregnant it was like a switch had been flipped and they had become anxious soon to be grandparents and they wouldn't stop calling you or asking Carly how you were doing and at first it was cute but know you had got a bit annoyed with it and had to tell them to limit the calls since they were waking you up sometimes when you were trying to rest and sleep, you knew they did it out of love but you just wanted to sleep before the baby arrived.

You were tossing and turning since you couldn't get comfy "babe are you okay" you heard Carly ask you "sorry for waking you, but I can't get comfy" you say and sit up slowly and turn to sit on the edge of the bed "what is making you uncomfortable babe" you heard Carly ask and felt the bed shift and you looked over your shoulder to see her behind you "my back is killing me" you say and soon you groaned when you felt her rub your lower back "is that the spot or somewhere else" you heard her ask "no that's the spot" you say and move forward slightly so she could reach the base of your back "please don't stop" you say and groaned in relief "okay" you heard her say softly and felt her knead your back a bit harder which made you groan louder, after 10 minutes of Carly rubbing your back you felt like you might be able to get some sleep "I think that might have helped" you say and move to lay on your side and face her and see her lay down and face you "I hope you get some sleep, I hate to see you like this" you heard her whisper and give you a quick kiss on the lips and you close your eyes and fall asleep. The next time you wake up is to a small pain rippling through your stomach and you gently reached for your phone and see that it was 1am and you had only been asleep for an hour and you groaned knowing you wouldn't fall back asleep anytime soon, you slowly sit up and move to the edge of the bed and struggled to stand up before being able to stand up after a few tries and you gently waddle out the bedroom with your phone in your hand and waddled to the nursery and went over the rocker you had set up in the nursery and slowly lowered yourself down into the chair and gently rocked the chair with your foot against the floor, something in you was telling you that the pains and back ache could be labour but you didn't want to wake up Carly if it wasn't and gently let the motion of rocking help you fall back to sleep however you wasn't asleep long before feeling another pain ripple through your stomach and this was followed by a pop like sensation happening and you felt your legs go wet and you knew what was happening immediately, you slowly stood up from the rocker with the help of the motion and waddled slowly back into the bedroom and sat down on your side of the bed and gently shook Carly awake.

You saw Carly wake up and see her sit up "babe you okay" you heard her say and you smiled at her even though it was dark in the room "Carly my waters have broken and I've had two contractions" you explain and saw her turn the bedside lamp on and basked the room in a soft glow of light and saw her looking at you in shock "really, it's happening" you heard her say and you nodded your head "yeah babe, you remember the plan" you ask her and watched as she climbed out the bed "yeah, phone your midwife, then phone Aut and Marjorie" you heard her say and you nodded at her "what else" you ask her and see her stop walking "and to make sure you are comfy and in your labour gown you bought" you heard her say and you nodded at her again and saw her ring your midwife to explain what is going on, you and Carly both decided to do a homebirth since you hated hospitals and Carly knew you wouldn't be relaxed in a hospital or even a birthing centre so you decided to go this route since you would be able to have your support team and be in your home relaxed "babe, your midwife is on the way she says to time your contractions" you heard Carly say and you picked up your phone and dialled Autumns number "I'll ring Autumn whilst you ring Marjorie" you say and ring Autumn's number and put the phone to your ear "Y/N its 1:30 in the morning is everything okay" you heard Autumn ask down the phone sleepily "ma, I'm in labour" you say straight to the point and heard "I'm on the way baby, have you put the plan in motion" come from down the phone and heard Autumn rushing around down the phone "yes ma, Carly has phoned my midwife and is on the phone to Marjorie" you explain and felt your stomach tighten slightly "ohhh" you say and breath lightly down the phone "you okay baby" you heard Autumn say "yeah just a small contraction" you say and looked at the time on your phone and saw it was 1:35am "okay baby, I'm on the way, I'll see you soon" you heard her say and you hung up the phone and saw Carly walking towards you with your gown you had bought "thank you" you say and quickly get changed and dried your legs free from the wetness from your waters breaking.
