AN: enjoy mother Siobhan jumping into action, i dont know how many words I have published today and i would be scared to find out  

You were sent to the sister nursery to cover since they have had a staff member phone in sick, you didn't want to be sent but you were spare at your nursery so Marjorie had sent you over to help them out, the only reason you didn't want to go is due to your birth mother being the manager even if she didn't know you were her daughter, you didn't know much about where you came from since you grew up in the system and was never adopted and was out of the system at 18 and have been on your own for 2 years and the only thing you knew was your birth mothers name and that was 'Siobhan Serpent' and you weren't mad or even angry with her for putting you up for adoption since you knew it was probably the hardest decision she probably had to make since you were currently in the same position but you had chosen to keep your baby instead but you could understand what was probably going through her mind since you had the thoughts. You entered the sister nursery and made your way to the office and saw Siobhan sat at her desk "hi Siobhan" you say quietly and see her look up at you before seeing her look at your stomach slightly "toddlers" you heard her say and you turned to leave the office before hearing "I hear congratulation are in order" come from behind you and turned to see her looking at you but more your stomach area "thank you mu-Siobhan" you say nearly calling her 'mum' but catching yourself and quickly left the office and headed to the toddler room where you would be working hoping she hadn't noticed the slip up.

Siobhan watched as you left the office and went back to the paperwork trying to focus on the paperwork but she heard the slip up that you had made and she knew you were her daughter from the very first time she had met you and had wanted to tell you but she didn't know how you would react but after hearing the slip up come from you she knew that you knew who she was, the only thing that confused her was why you haven't called her out on it yet especially if you were currently pregnant, she leaned back in her chair and tried to think how to bring it up to you without making it awkward between you both. Siobhan was on her lunch when she heard a knock on her office door "come in" she called and looked up and was shocked to see you walking in with a pained look on your face "Siobhan" she heard you whisper and she could tell something wasn't right with you "yes" she says but noticed that you were holding your stomach "something doesn't feel right, I'm scared" she heard you whisper and she felt her motherly instincts kick in at your words and she stood up and grabbed her phone of the desk and dialled Marjorie's office number "Marjorie I need you to come cover me, I need to leave the office immediately, the staff will be fine for 15 minutes" she says and hangs up before giving Marjorie a chance to respond and quickly walks over to you "come on, we will get you checked out" she says to you and gently guides you out the office and out to her car before helping you in the car and quickly jumped in to the drivers seat and quickly set of to the hospital that was closest to the nursery.

You were shocked when Siobhan jumped into action and helped you to get checked out, all you felt was pain in your stomach and was getting concerned for your baby, you rubbed your small bump and tried to keep yourself calm knowing stress can make it worse "how you feeling" you heard Siobhan ask a few minutes later "in pain, just hope nothing is wrong" you whisper and lean your head back "how far along are you" you heard her ask as she drove "16 weeks" you say and see her nod her head at you, after 20 minutes you feel Siobhan pull in front of the hospital and see her park the car before watching her jump out the car and rush to your side of the car "come on darling" you heard her mumble and let her help you out the car since you were shocked at the pet name that came out and let her take you inside the hospital and over to the receptionist "hi my daughter Y/N is 16 weeks pregnant and is suffering with stomach pains" you heard Siobhan say and you just stand there in shock at her words and see the receptionist nod at her before seeing her turn to you "can we have your full name and date of birth please" you heard the woman say but before you could respond Siobhan responded "her name is Y/N Y/M/N Serpent and her date of birth is 12th October 2001" you heard Siobhan say and you reached for her arm since the pain was back "breathe sweetie" you heard her say and feel her rub your back "thank you, if you just take a seat we will get a doctor to see you shortly" you heard the receptionist say and you walk with Siobhan to the waiting area and sit down and waited to be seen. You were bent forward slightly due to the slight pain you were experiencing when you heard "Y/N SERPENT" being shouted and you stood up with Siobhan's help and made your way to the room that the nurse was stood outside and made your way in and sat in the chair the nurse gestured to "Miss Serpent, how can we help you today" you heard the nurse say and you saw Siobhan roll her eyes at the nurse but you turned to the nurse "I'm 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I was in work when I bent down to pick something up when I felt pains in my stomach and I thought it was just a pulled muscle but the pains have gotten worse" you explain and at that moment you felt a pain and reached out to grip something and felt Siobhan hold your hand "okay, we are going to do an ultrasound to see what is going on, you haven't had bleeding or had a fall" you heard the nurse say and you shake your head at her "no bleeding and I had a small stumble but I caught myself before I went down, I tripped over a block that is when I bent down to pick it up" you say and see the nurse nod at you before seeing her standup "I won't be a moment" you heard her say and see her leave the room and you close your eyes hoping nothing is wrong with your baby "everything will be fine" you heard Siobhan say and you open your eyes and look over at her and see her smiling at you gently and you just nodded at her before leaning your head back.
