Surprise Reveal

Prompt: just a random all over the place one shot 

You woke up to soft kisses being planted all over your face which made you open your eyes to see your husband Christopher who is also known as Chris "morning darling" you heard him whisper to you as he helped you up from the bed "morning love" you say to him as you stood from the bed "we need to get ready for your parents barbeque she is having, didn't your mum say she had invited her work friends which includes my sister" you heard him say to you which you nodded at him "yeah she did" you say to him before seeing him bend down to be level with your stomach and watched as he lifted your shift slightly to reveal your bare stomach and felt him place three kisses on your stomach which was met with a swift kick to the inside your stomach and heard "hi bubba, it's daddy here I just wanted to let you know that we are going to see nana and grandad so I need you to be on your best behaviour for mummy" come from Chris which made you laugh at him since he does this little speech every morning and night ever since you had found out your were pregnant 4 months ago and you were now 6 months pregnant and you had a medium size bump "right lets get ready" you say to Chris when he had stood up from kneeling in front of you on the floor and you moved to the ensuite that was attached to the bedroom. Once you both had gotten ready for the barbeque you locked up the house before setting off to your parent's house where you grew up with Chris driving whilst you sat in the passenger seat with your hand on your husband's thigh as he drove and soon you saw your parents house come into view and you saw multiple cars in front of their house, once Chris had stopped the car you watched him climb out the car before seeing him rush round the car to help you out which he did quickly whilst placing a kiss on your lips once you had gotten out the car fully which you responded to before breaking the kiss and letting him lead you to the house, entering the house you could hear voices coming from the back of the house where you knew the back garden was and with Chris following you made your way to the back garden.

You stepped out the back door and saw your mum talking to your sister in-law whilst your dad was at the grill with a short black haired man before looking round to see other women sat at the garden table, you made your way over to your dad slowly "hi dad" you say to him and saw him turn to face you "baby girl, you made it" you heard him say before seeing him place the tongs he had in his hand down before feeling him bring you in for a hug and heard him greet your husband "hi Chris, you doing all right" you heard your dad say and whilst you let go of your dad you heard "hi Reece, I'm doing alright how are you and Marjorie" come from Chris and you see your dad nod before hearing "AHH THERE SHE IS" being screamed by your mum and you turned to see her coming towards you with her arms out to hug you "hi ma" you say as you wrapped your arms around her and as you looked over her shoulder you saw Charlotte smiling at you "hi Y/N" you heard Charlotte say before seeing her make her way over to Chris "hi Chris" you heard Charlotte say to her brother and after letting your mum go you looked to see Chris hugging Charlotte. You moved over to where Chris was stood hugging Charlotte and saw her let him go before feeling her bring you in for a hug "hi Char, you doing okay" you asked her and heard "yeah, I didn't know your parents invited you and how are you feeling" come from her and you let her go "we didn't know if we were going to be able to make it but we did and I'm okay just tired" you say to her and see her nod before watching her bend down to be level with your stomach "be nice to your mummy and that is an order from your aunt Lottie" you heard her say which made you laugh at her antics since she did this everytime she saw you since you had told her you were pregnant. You saw Charlotte stand back up straight before hearing "umm sorry to interrupt but who are these people" you heard a woman say from the table and you see your mum and dad share a look with each other but you just answered instead "hi I'm Y/N and this is my husband Chris and I'm Marjorie and Reece's daughter" you say to her whilst walking over to the table with your mum, Chris and Charlotte following you "wait I have a niece" you heard the woman say and you looked at your mum confused "Autumn, she is my biological daughter but Reece's step daughter but she calls him dad since her biological father doesn't have anything to do with her and she is close to Reece" you heard your mum explain and you nodded at the woman before sitting down "how old are you" you heard the woman your mum called Autumn ask "I'm 30" you say and saw everyone look at Marjorie with shocked faces "I had her when I was 18" you heard her say which you saw everyone nod at slowly "so how long have you and Reece been married for then" you heard someone ask your mum "let me introduce you to Y/N before I explain" you heard her say but soon saw her point to everyone "Y/N these are Sorscha and her wife Clodagh than they have Quinn their daughter, next to them we have Autumn and Winter who is your step-aunt and uncle since Autumn is Reece's little sister and then finally we have Charlotte who you already know but next to her is Mia who is her girlfriend" heard your mum explain and you nod and wave at everyone.

Seeing everyone go back to talking you feel Chris place a hand on your thigh "darling, do you want a drink or anything" you heard him ask and you nod at him "can I have a lemonade" you ask him and see him nod before watching him walk into the house to get your drink choice "so Y/N how do you know my sweetheart" you heard who you now knew as Mia ask and you smile at her "I'm her sister in-law, Chris is her brother" you explained and see everyone look at you and Charlotte in shock which made you both laugh "so your Marjorie's daughter and Charlotte's sister in-law but also my brother's step daughter" you heard Sorscha say and you nod at her "indeed" you say to her before seeing your husband walk over to you with a cup in his hand "here we go darling" you heard him say to you which made you smile at him before taking the drink from him "thank you love" you say to him before seeing him sit next to you "I can't believe we've never knew that Marjorie had a daughter" you heard Winter say and you heard your mum chuckle "well know you do and to answer your question me and Reece have been married for 4 years but we kept it quiet so your father wouldn't find out about Y/N" you heard your mum explain and you smile at her when you see her smile at you with a motherly smile. You had been at your parents house for an hour and was sat on the chair with your feet on your husbands lap since your feet were hurting so he had offered to rub them for a bit which you didn't disagree with and was quick to put your feet in his lap "Y/N how far along are you" you heard Clodagh ask and you turn to look at her with a smile on your face "I've just hit 6 months" you say to her and see her smile before seeing her look at Quinn who was in Sorscha's lap "I remember being in that stage and it's when things start to get a bit harder" you heard her say and you nod at her before rubbing your stomach "do you know what you are having" you heard Autumn ask and you had found out that she was also pregnant but was only at the beginning of her pregnancy "we do indeed" you say with a smirk when you heard "wait what, how long have you known" you heard your mum ask and you turn to share a look with Chris and see him nod at you "we've know for a month" you say before hearing "WHAT" being shouted by your mum and dad whilst Charlotte looked at you and Chris with a shocked look on her face "you said you didn't know" you heard your mum ask and you just smirk at her "we lied because we wanted to surprise you all at a later date" you say before seeing them all stare at you "well what are you having" you heard your dad ask and you just shake your head at him "we are not telling today, this is a barbeque and you won't know when we tell you" you explain since you and Chris has decided to just randomly surprise them one day and their reaction caused you and Chris to laugh "WAIT WHAT THAT ISN'T FAIR" you heard them all shout which caused you and Chris to laugh even more.

It had been two week since your parents barbeque and you were meeting your parents for lunch at the nursery with Chris and you both decided to surprise them with the gender of your unborn baby and both decided to wear the colour of the gender so you were wearing a dress in the colour of the gender whilst Chris had decided to wear a shirt in a similar colour to your dress, you made your way into the nursery whilst holding Chris's hand and you couldn't wait for your parents reaction to finding out the gender of their grandchild and walked down the corridor towards the office that your mum used and you looked around the new nursery since you knew about the merger that had happened before entering the office to see your mum, dad and Autumn all sat in the office talking with each other. Entering the office you saw your parents and Autumn look up as you both walked into the office and you immediately saw Autumn look at your dress and Chris's shirt before seeing her eyes go wide before hearing "hi baby girl" come from your dad and you smile at everyone "hi mum, dad and Autumn" you greet before hearing "what are you doing here" come from your mum and you see Chris hold up a bag "we brought lunch" you heard Chris say to your parents "thank you baby girl and Chris" you hear your dad say. You smile at your parents before sitting in your mum's chair behind her desk and share a look with Autumn at your oblivious parents "mum, dad do you notice anything" you ask them both and see them both look at you and Chris a few times before seeing your dads eyes go wide "why are you both wearing blue" you heard him ask and you just smirk at him "why do you think we're wearing blue" you ask before hearing "OMG OMG AAAHHHH YOUR HAVING A BOY" being shouted by your mum and you had to cover your ears at how loud your mum was shouting "we are" you say after uncovering your ears and saw Autumn do the same " I can't wait a grandson to show the stars" you heard you dad say and you smile at him because ever since you had told them you were pregnant all your dad has been saying is about showing his grandchild the stars and sharing his passion for the stars which you loved since you couldn't wait to see them as grandparents.
