Picnic

Prompt: you go for a picnic with your wife and the nursery family

You walked next to Marjorie down the path at the park and held her hand as you walked "it's nice we can all get together" you heard her say to you "yeah, its like our last trip before little boy makes his appearance" you say and rub your large stomach and felt a kick in response "yeah, how are you feeling my love" you heard her say to you which made you roll your eyes "I'm fine and if I feel one thing I will let you know" you say to her and heard her sigh "its just your 2 days away from your due date and I'm getting nervous about you being in pain" you heard her say and you stopped walking which made her stop walking "Jorie, the pain is sadly part of it but what we get at the end is the main thing and little mister can make his appearance any time, but he has two days to get out before eviction is taken seriously" you say to her and saw that your words made her relax and you reach up to give her a kiss on the lips before carrying on walking and tugged Marjorie to walk with you and felt her put a hand on the base of your back and you knew if she found out you had been contracting slightly on and off all night and this morning then she wouldn't let you come out and you really wanted to see everyone before your son made his appearance. You felt Marjorie guide you over to where everyone was sat on multiple blankets "hi everyone" you say once you were close enough to them "hi Y/N, Marjorie glad you could make it" you heard Charlotte say to you "well if this one had her way I wouldn't be here right now" you say and point to your wife who just shrugged her shoulders at your comment and with Marjorie's help you settled down on one of the blankets and laughed when Sorscha passed you two pillows "for your back" you heard her say to you whilst you took the pillows "thank you" you say and place on pillow behind you and one in your lap, you saw Marjorie sit next to you and looked around the blanket to see everyone sitting and talking with each other "I'm glad we came" you whisper to Marjorie and turn to face her "me too, I'm sorry if I've been over protective I just want to keep you both safe" you heard her say to you and feel her rub your stomach slightly "I know you do and I love your protectiveness of our son" you whisper to her and place your hand over her own hand and smiled when you felt a kick which was followed by multiple kicks and punches "hey be nice to mama" you heard Marjorie say to your stomach which made everyone laugh at her comment.

You were sat on the blanket and was watching Charlotte, Marjorie, Winter and Reece all kick a football around to each other whilst you, Autumn, Sorscha and Mia were sat on the blanket watching them, you shifted slightly at a small contraction and rubbed your stomach trying to be discreet but sighed when you heard "you okay Y/N" come from Mia and you looked over to see her, Sorscha and Autumn all watching you "yeah, your nephew is just kicking like he's the one playing football" you lie to them and see them nod at you but you noticed that Mia was watching you with a curious look but you ignored it and let out a yawn "is it alright for me to take a nap" you ask feeling exhausted from carrying your son around all day "go for it, the whole point of today was spending time together and relaxing" you heard Sorscha say and you nod at her before laying down and placed on of the pillows Sorscha gave you under your stomach and the other one under your head before closing your eyes and took a nap whilst everyone played and talked. Sorscha watched as you closed your eyes and she turned to the two other women on the blanket "we agree to keep an eye on her" she says to them and see them nod at her "she is hiding something" she heard Mia say "yeah, something is happening and she is hiding it but I don't know what" she heard Autumn say after Mia which made her nod since she knew you were hiding something and she had a feeling you were hiding it from Marjorie for some reason "I agree, she is hiding something from Marjorie" she says and watched as you shifted on the blanket and she stood up and grabbed one of the spare blankets and covered you with it.

Marjorie looked over at the blanket and saw Mia, Sorscha and Autumn all talking but she couldn't see you until she saw Sorscha move slightly and she smiled when she saw you asleep on the blanket under a blanket "watch out Marjorie" she heard Charlotte say to her and she quickly ducked when she noticed the ball heading for her face "sorry Marjorie" she heard Charlotte say again and she shook her head at Charlotte "it was my fault I got distracted" she says and retrieves the ball that was behind before kicking it towards Reece "what made you get distracted" she heard Charlotte ask her "just my love sleeping on the blanket" she says and nods over to where you were asleep on the blanket and saw Charlotte look in the direction she nodded and saw her smile at the view she was looking at "she seems peaceful" she heard Charlotte say and she nodded again "yeah, she hasn't slept much these last few days so I'm glad she is getting a chance to catch up on it" she says and turns back to the football that was coming towards her. Marjorie made her way back to the blanket with everyone when they started to get hungry and she lowered herself down next to you where you were still sleeping and decided to leave you to sleep "has she stirred once" she asked the three women who stayed on the blanket "no, she has been asleep the whole time" she heard Mia say to her and she nodded her head and made you a small plate for you to each when you woke up before getting her own food and joined in a conversation with Charlotte and Autumn whilst eating and keeping an eye on you.
