Prompt: You get a serious injury during a recital and it isn't good news on your future

You were standing backstage waiting to go on for your solo, you were at your end of year dance recital and was doing the final number of the show and had performed 3 times already that evening and you felt like your legs were jelly and your heart was racing but you loved to dance and enjoyed performing "let's give it up for the last dance of the evening dancing a lyrical dance called 'mother' please clap for Y/N Serpent-Clark" you heard being announced and you made your entrance and got into position to start your dance. Hearing the start of your music you start the routine that you had been taught and let the music and the feeling you get when you are dancing take over and got lost in the routine, halfway through the routine you felt a snap in your hip but tried to continue through with the routine, you looked into the wing and saw your dance teacher watching you and could see her looking worried, as you went to do a final leap you felt your hip tear somewhere and as you landed you went down with a crash and wacked your head on the floor hard enough to knock yourself out but all you felt was pain in your hip before the world went black.

Siobhan was watching your dance recital in the audience and was sad the her wife Vivian couldn't come due to work but she knew that you understand and wasn't mad or upset since Vivian always made up for it with you by taking you out for the day or spending time with you, she watched as you started your final routine and was watching in awe of everything you was doing but she sat up straight when she saw you wobble slightly and she could tell something wasn't right but she watched as you carried on before seeing you look into the wing briefly before carrying on dancing, she could tell something was wrong from how you were holding yourself whilst dancing and she watched as you went into a leap and saw you land but instead of landing correctly she saw and heard you go down with a crash and she jumped out her seat and rushed to the backstage. Siobhan made her way backstage and rushed over to your dance teacher who had lifted you off stage and she saw you passed out "what happened" she asked your teacher "I don't fully know but something went wrong during the routine she took a wobble but she never takes a wobble at all and she only passed out due to hitting her head on the floor hard enough" she heard your dance teacher say and she knelt down and brushed your hair from your face "ambulance is on the way" she heard someone shout and she took out her phone and rang Vivians number "hi darling" she heard Vivian say to her down the phone "Viv, in 20-30 minutes you will probably getting an emergency come in, it might be Y/N" she says quickly down the phone to her wife "wait what" she heard Vivian ask her "something has happened and we will be in ambulance coming to your work, she has knocked herself out when she hit the floor but something else happened but we don't know what happened, she took a wobble on stage but carried on" she says to Vivian and tried to keep herself calm "omg is she okay, I probably won't be able to treat her but I'll meet you outside" she heard Vivian say and she heard rushed feet and saw paramedics coming over to her "I don't know Viv, the paramedics are here so we will be with you soon" she says before hanging up the phone after exchanging goodbyes and moved slightly to let the paramedics start working on you.

After being loaded into the ambulance Siobhan sat next to you and stroked your hair before hearing you groan and saw you move slightly before hearing a whimper come from you "sweetie" she whispered and saw the paramedic stand up to check on you "Y/N can you squeeze your mum's hand for me" she heard the paramedic say and she felt you squeeze her hand weakly "good girl, your in an ambulance okay" she heard the paramedic carry on speaking and she saw your eyelids flutter and soon your eyes slowly open "its hurts" she heard you whisper and she felt her heartbreak when she saw tears fall down your cheeks "where is the pain" she heard the paramedic say and she saw you shake your head before seeing you gag and she watched as the paramedic grab a paper bowl and put you on your side as you were being sick "potentially concussion" she heard the paramedic mutter as they helped keep you on your side until you finished being sick and laid you back down once you had finished being sick "hips, it felt like it snapped and then teared" she hear you say quietly before hearing you start to sob "mumma is here sweetie, we will get you sorted out and with mama" she whispered and stroked your head with one hand and the back of your hand with the other. Siobhan felt the ambulance come to a stop and saw the back doors open and heard "Y/N Serpent-Clark 17 years old female, felt a tear in her hip after a snapping sensation a few moments before, she is a dancer and was at a dance recital" being spoken by the paramedic as they moved the bed out the ambulance and she followed them out the ambulance and when she climbed out the back she saw Vivian stood to the side and she saw her rush over to where she was "Bon-Bon" she heard Vivian say to her "Viv" she says to her wife and pulled her in for a hug before taking her hand "my boss has took me out of rotation due to Y/N coming in" she heard Vivian say to her and lead her behind the paramedics into the hospital "mama, mumma" she heard you shout and rushed over to you "we are here okay, let the doctors help you sweetie" she heard Vivian say and she reached over to stroke your head "it hurts mama" she heard you whisper whilst crying in pain "I know, once they know what is wrong they will be able to give you something for the pain" she heard Vivian explain and she was never more thankful that her wife was a nurse so keep you calm by explaining everything better for you, Siobhan looked over when you saw a doctor come over to where your bed was in the emergency department "hi I'm Doctor Murphy and I believe you was dancing and felt a snapping and tearing sensation in your hip and when you fell down you hit your head that caused you to pass out" she heard the doctor say and she saw you nod slightly "yeah my left hip felt like it snapped and I carried on and when I went to land out of a leap I felt something tear" she heard you explain and she saw you lean your head back and she could tell you were in pain from how you were gripping onto Vivian's hand "okay, is it okay for me to have a look at your hip" she heard the doctor say and she saw you nod and watched as the doctor came to the side and started to press on your hip "owwww" she heard you cry out and watched as the doctor rotated your hip "mama it hurts make it stop" she heard you cry out to Vivian and she saw Vivian turn to the doctor "be a bit more gentle" she heard Vivian snap at the doctor and saw the doctor put your leg back down "sorry Y/N, I'm going to arrange for you to have a MRI and CAT scan" she heard the doctor say and she saw you look at Vivian with a scared look "there is nothing to be scared, it is an imagining machine that lets the doctors have a look at your muscles" she heard Vivian explain and saw you nod your head "we can't give you anything yet for the pain, but the MRI scan will also rule out any concussions or head injuries" she heard the doctor say before seeing them walk away.
