You were stood outside with your family watching the fireworks light up the sky once the clock struck midnight to celebrate the new year and you were cuddled with your wife Janice after sharing a kiss at midnight before feeling a nudge on your shoulder which caused you to look up and saw Janice staring down at you with a loving gaze "look at Aurora with Marjorie" you heard her whisper and you looked over to where your 4 year old daughter was being held by Marjorie who you saw had covered your daughters ears which made you smile at how adorable they looked together "Marjorie is she okay" you called to her and saw Marjorie turn to face you and Janice with a smile "yeah, she was scared by the noise so I covered her ears and she seems to be fine" you heard Marjorie say softly and you smiled at her "thank you for looking out for her" you heard Janice say to Majorie who you saw smile wider at you both "just looking after my niece" you heard Marjorie say before seeing her go back to pointing at the different fireworks with Aurora who you heard giggle at the different colours she saw in the sky. You leant back against Janice and felt her place her hands on your stomach which made you smile since you have been keeping a secret for the last few days from your wife and you moved to spin around in her arms before hooking your arms around her neck and smiled up at Janice who you saw look down at you with a smile of her own "I think this year is going to be a fantastic year" you say to her quietly and saw her look at you with a confused face "why do you say that darling" you heard her ask you which made you smile even wider at her "because in 8 months so around August time our family is getting bigger" you say to her and saw her look at you in shock "wait what" you heard her ask and you take a step back from her but kept your arms around her neck "well how do you think our family is getting bigger" you say to her without giving her the answer and you see Janice just shake her head at you "please just tell me" you heard her ask and you smirk at her "I'm pregnant my beloved and in around 8 months our family is going to get bigger" you say to her and you see Janice look at you with wide eyes "your kidding" you heard her ask and you shake your head at her "no my beloved I'm not, we're going to be mummies again" you say to her with excitement and let out a squeal when you felt Janice pick you up and spin you around whilst you were in her arms before feeling her place a kiss on your lips which you melted into and slowly got lost into the kiss but quickly broke the kiss when you heard "get a room you two" in the sound of Autumn's voice and you turned to face Autumn and let out a huff "how about no and you turn the other way" you say before turning back to your wife and pulled her in for a hard kiss and heard laughter come from everyone before you broke the kiss this time and rested your head against Janice's forehead and let out a sigh feeling content in her arms.

You rested in Janice's arms before feeling Janice pull away from you slightly to see her bend down to her knees so she was level with your flat stomach that would soon become round as the months passed as your unborn baby grew in your stomach, looking down you see Janice place a kiss over your covered stomach before hearing "can I lift your jumper darling" you heard her say softly to you which made you nod at "yes my beloved" you say just a softly to her and watched as she pulled up your jumper slightly before seeing and feeling her place three kisses on your stomach and heard "little bubba, I can't wait to meet you but I also can't wait to see you grow in your mamma's stomach over the next few months" come from Janice which made you smile and you gently placed one of your hands on your wife's cheek to make her look up at you "I love you my beloved" you whispered to her and slowly saw her stand back up and felt her cup your cheeks before feeling her bring you in for another kiss which you sighed into before returning the kiss with enough emotion so that Janice could feel your love for her. You felt Janice breakaway from you before feeling her bring you into her arms where you rested your head on her chest before hearing "we have an audience" being whispered in your ear by Janice and you slowly turned to face everyone to see them all standing there looking at you and Janice with a mixture of confused and shocked faces "do you want to inform the group" you heard Mia say and you look up at Janice with a smirk "should we or should we not" you asked her and see her smirk back at you before seeing her glance at the group near where you were stood and heard "TELL US PLEASE" being shouted by the group and you chuckled before nodding at them "I'M PREGNANT" you shout with excitement to the group and quickly covered your ears when you heard "AAAAHHH WE'RE GOING TO BE AUNTS AND UNCLES" being shouted by everyone and once the shouting had stopped you felt your ears being uncovered by Janice and heard "you are all going to be aunt and uncles" come Janice which made you chuckle since you knew this baby was going to be spoilt by the nursery family like your daughter was already spoilt by them.

After watching the fireworks you all went back inside the house and you walked over to Marjorie to take Aurora off her so you could put her to bed since she had fallen asleep but as soon as you had your daughter in your arms she was immediately took off you by Janice who took her "I've got her" you heard Janice say but before you could say anything you saw Janice walk into the house leaving you stood there confused on what just happened, after you had come out your shock you slowly made it back into the house and into the living room where everyone was now and you could hear the chatter coming from the living room but you noticed it was a quiet chatter and as you entered the living room you were immediately made to sit down in one of the chairs that were in the living room and as you were placed in the chair you saw it was Sorscha who had made you sit down "okay what is going on" you asked the group that was in the room with you but noticed that you were ignored completely by everyone which annoyed you slightly, you were sat in the living room sulking from being ignored so you went to stand up from your chair since you wanted a drink but as you went to stand up from the chair you saw Janice walk back into the room "nope sit down, what do you need" you heard her say but you ignored her and moved to stand up anyway "I'm getting a drink" you say before moving to walk into the living room but was blocked by Janice "no you sit down and I will get you the drink, you need to rest since you are carrying our precious gift" you heard her Janice say gently and it suddenly made sense on what was going on with everyone. You looked around the room as Janice left to get your drink you wanted "right two rules" you say to the group and saw them all look at you with confused faces "what rules" you heard Autumn ask and you smirked at everyone before seeing Janice walk into the room with your drink "rule one no treating me different since I'm pregnant and rule two is no babying me at all I don't need to babied by anyone or made to take it easy because I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant not an invalid am I clear" you say to the group as you took the drink off Janice before sitting back down on the chair and was happy to see everyone just staring at you with shocked expressions "glad to clear that up" you say before taking a sip of your drink before turning to look at Janice "that includes you as well my beloved" you say to her and see her look at you with a frown "but.." you heard Janice go to say but you just shake your head at her "no buts, maybe in a few months than you can start showing the protectiveness but right now is a no, I'm capable of doing my own thing at the moment" you say to her and saw Janice slowly nod at your words which made you happy "glad we came to an understanding" you say to everyone before seeing Janice sit next to you on the arm of the chair you was sat on "darling, how far along are you with the pregnancy because we did the procedure 2 and half months ago" you heard Janice ask and you nodded at her and also saw everyone look at you "I'm 10 weeks" you says to everyone and felt Janice place a kiss on your forehead "wait Janice have you just found out" you heard Reece ask your wife and you quickly interjected "I found out 2 days ago and wanted to surprise my beloved on new years eve at the strike of midnight" you explain to everyone and saw them nod at you and Janice in understanding.

You leant back into the chair and felt Janice pull you into her side gently "this year is going to be fun" you heard Janice say softly and you nodded at her "I know, gender reveal and getting the nursey ready but I can't wait for Rory to be a big sister, she has been asking for a baby brother for months" you say to her and look up at her to see her smiling down at you "she has indeed but I'm so excited for her to get excited with the news when we explain to her that her mumma has baby in her stomach" you heard Janice say and you let out a laugh at her words "well this mumma is excited to see her with her little sibling but I'm also excited to see you with our new baby" you say to Janice gently with a smile before reaching up to place a kiss on her cheek but saw her turn so you placed the kiss on her lips instead before pulling away "happy new year to us" you say against Janice's lips. You slowly stood up from the chair an hour later with a yawn and looked around the room to see everyone had fallen asleep in different places around the living room and you turned to see Janice also stood up from where she was sat "lets leave them and go bed" you heard her say and you nodded at her before moving to grab blankets for everyone and covered them all with different blankets before letting Janice lead you to the stairs before walking up the stairs together to your bedroom, once you had made it to the bedroom you quickly got changed into your pyjamas before climbing into the bed with Janice climbing on the other side and you laid down to face Janice and gently smiled at her "I love you my beloved" you say to her which was followed by a yawn "I love you darling, and happy new year again darling this was the best way to start the new year finding out we are having another baby" you heard Janice say and you smile at her before leaning over to give her a kiss before settling down into the bed and let Janice pull you close to her before feeling her place a hand on your stomach "get some rest darling" you heard Janice say and feel her kiss your cheek before closing your eyes and let the darkness take over and the last thought you had was how crazy the year was going to be.
