Frozen Lake

Prompt: you go skating on a frozen lake and your parents relationship is revealed and you meet the nursery family for the first time 

AN: @Jaime_prolific2 also gave me this pairing as well and I have never written this type pairing before so it's only a small one just to ease myself into this pairing since i'm new to it and i want to do it right, this one shot is set in December so it's classed as Christmas 

You let out a sigh as you rested against the couch with your legs over the arm of the couch trying to think of something to do before getting an idea and grabbed your coat, shoes and car keys before grabbing your skates from there place by the door, you locked the house up and walked slowly to your car "I hope it's frozen enough" you whisper to yourself before driving off to the lake that was over the road of the nursery that your parents worked at so you could wait for them to finish work and you could treat them to a nice dinner out after they had finished working for the day, making it to the lake you parked next to it and slowly climbed out the car whilst grabbing your skates from the seat next to you before walking down the path to the lake that had frozen over and was used in winter for ice hockey practice by the local club, once you had made your way to the lake you threw sticks and bricks on it to make sure it was frozen solid before sitting on the bench near by and removed your shoes before putting on your ice skates so you could get some practice in for the upcoming competition you had at the end of the week. Slowly putting weight on the ice you smiled when you didn't hear a crack or see any cracks form in the ice from your weight and you make your way onto the ice and warm up your body by doing a few stretches and laps to get yourself to loosen up so you wouldn't be sore the next day, after warming up you put on some music on your phone that was in your pocket and slowly got lost in the music and started doing jumps and spins on the frozen lake not aware that you were being watched by a group of adults from the nursery, you slowly glided around the ice singing along to the Christmas music you were playing since it was 2 weeks away till Christmas and you loved the festive period and loved that your favourite sport was something you could really enjoy at this time of year, you went round a bend and felt your balance go before feeling yourself fall to the ice with a soft thud which didn't phase you since you were used to falling on the ice and knew how to fall safely as you stood up on the ice again you saw someone rush over to the edge of the lake and noticed they were followed by a group of people but as they got closer you recognised them as your daddy and papa but the people behind them you didn't know and saw your daddy stop at the edge of the ice but you could tell he looked worried.  

Winter walked into the office to sign out for the day to see everyone stood at the window looking at something and heard footsteps behind him to see his husband walk in the room "what are you all staring at" he heard his husband Reece ask and saw everyone jump from not expecting to hear Reece's voice "ohh, someone is on the lake over the road and well they are skating on it" he heard his sister in-law Autumn explain and he walked over to the window to see a figure skating on the ice at a quick speed and he knew who it was immediately before seeing Reece do the same before hearing a quiet "she is nearly ready" come from Reece so that only he could hear it and he nodded in agreement whilst keeping his eyes on the person skating, Winter was watching the person skate slowly around the lake before seeing them slip and fall down onto the ice and before he could stop his husband he saw him rush out the room leaving him with everyone staring in the direction that Reece had gone "why did Reece just leave the room" he heard Sorscha ask and instead of answering Winter rushed out the room to follow Reece out the building but didn't notice everyone following him out the building and in the direction of the lake. Rushing after Reece to the lake he saw Reece stop at the edge of the lake and he quickly caught up slightly out of breath "ARE YOU OKAY PETAL" he heard Reece shout to you and he saw you look over at him and Reece before seeing you nod and heard "I'M GOOD DADDY, HI PAPA" come from you and he heard multiple gasps come from behind him and Reece, slowly turning around with Reece he saw everyone staring at him and Reece "did that person just call you both 'daddy' and 'papa' Winter are you and Reece together what is going on" he heard Autumn ask in rapid succession and he looked at Reece who slowly nodded at him and he let out a sigh before replying "yes she did, that is mine and Reece's daughter she is 19 years old and we adopted her 4 years ago, we have been married for 7 years" he explained to his and Reece's friends and saw them look at him in shock before hearing "wait that means that's my niece, I'm aunt Autumn omg I'm a aunt" come from Autumn and he heard Reece chuckle at Autumn's antics "yeah Aut" he heard Reece say but he turned around to see you do a triple spin the air and he could help himself "GO ON BUTTERFLY, YES SWEETIE" he shouted since he knew you had been trying to land that move for a while "PAPA I DID IT, I FINALLY DID IT" he heard you shout and watched as you did a small victory lap "COME HERE AND SAY HI BUTTERFLY" he shouted since you were on the other side of the lake.
