You were working in the nursery and was sat at the table with a group of toddlers doing an activity with them whilst Sorscha was getting lunch ready for them, you were 38 weeks pregnant with you and your wife's first child and today was your last day before going on maternity leave "Y/N lunch is ready for the toddlers" you heard Sorscha say and you turn to look at her before nodding your head and turned back to the toddlers "right kids lunch is ready shall we go and eat" you say to them and before you could even finish the sentence the toddlers had rushed off to where Sorscha was and you slowly stood up but stopped when you felt a slight twinge in your back and stomach "Y/N, you okay" you heard Sorscha ask you "yeah I'm fine Sorscha" you say before standing up straight and made your way to where Sorscha was stood "if you're sure, let me know if you need anything" you heard her say and you nod at her before checking on the toddlers whilst they ate their lunch. You were walking around the room keeping an eye on the group of kids when you felt another twinge but this was stronger than the last one you had but what got your attention was the sensation of water leaking from you, looking up you noticed Sorscha had her back to you "Sorscha" you say and see her turn to you quickly "what's wrong" you heard her ask and you just look down before looking back up "I need you to phone the office and get me cover" you say trying to stay calm due to the toddlers in the room "okay but why" you hear her ask and see her walk over to the phone and saw her dial the office number and see her turn to you whilst the phone rang "hi Marjorie, Y/N needs you to send someone into cover for her" you heard her ask and you see her raise an eyebrow at you "Marjorie asked what is it for" you heard her ask and you glance at the toddlers before looking back at her "you need to stay calm but my waters have broken right now" you say to her and see her eyes go wide before hearing "code pink Marjorie code pink" come from Sorscha and saw her pull the phone from her ear and even from where you were stood you could hear Marjorie screaming down the phone before seeing Sorscha put the phone back to her ear "you done Marjorie" you heard Sorscha say and you grip the draws you were stood next to when you felt a proper contraction and tried to keep calm whilst getting through it "we need that cover now Marjorie, Y/N is currently going through a contraction and we have a room full of toddlers" you heard Sorscha say quickly down the phone but you paid half attention to it until the contraction ended.

You looked over to see Sorscha hang up the phone and walk over to you "let's get you sat down for a minute, Autumn is ringing Mia to come get you since she is only at the sister nursery and Marjorie is sending in Charlotte to cover you since she is spare in her room and when she has arrived head to the office until Mia has turned up" you heard Sorscha say and let her guide you to a chair and got you sat down for a moment until you could leave the room "okay" you say to her and let your body relax for a moment, you where waiting 10 minutes when you saw the door open to the room and saw Charlotte come in "I'm here, sorry it took long" you heard her say and with Sorscha's help you stood up and slowly waddle out the room "it's fine, I will see you all soon" you say and shut the door behind you and made your way to the office. Entering the office you saw Autumn on the phone "she has just come into the office" you heard Autumn say and you see Marjorie nearly bouncing in her seat "I'll ask now" you heard Autumn say again and see her look at you "Mia wants to know if you've had any contractions" you heard her ask and you hold out your hand for the phone and when she passed it over you brought it to your ear whilst taking a seat in the chair Marjorie had got for you "baby" you ask down the phone and heard your wife sigh down the phone "hi darling, I'm on the way, have you had any contractions or have your waters just broken" you heard her ask you "I had a small one before my waters broke and then one after it whilst Sorscha was on the phone with Marjorie" you say to her and rub you stomach "okay so when did the last one end" you heard her ask and you look at your watch quickly "12 minutes ago" you say to her and heard her sigh again "I will be 10 minutes, just stay with Autumn and Marjorie" you heard her say which made you laugh "no I thought I would go sit on my own" you say to her with a chuckle and heard her chuckle at your response "don't even think about it" you heard her say down the phone "love you" you say to her and heard "love you too" come from her and you hang up the phone and pass it back to Autumn.
