'The Water Fountain'
The stars fell on a dark night sky, where the only dim lights were coming from the palace's checkpoints as the guards were circling around non stop.
Opening the door into her room, Luna's eyes have never sparkled the same way before.
The colorful furniture and the beautiful flowers vase. She jumped on the soft bed after a good round of dancing.
"This feels like a dream"
She said while stretching arms while watching the golden ceilings.
In the room next to hers, Marion placed her small bag in the corner before walking towards the window to set it open when someone knocked on her door.
A little girl stepped into the room, rubbing her green sleepy eyes while holding into her stuffed bunny.
"Marion, can I sleep with you?"
She said.
The maid smiled softly while walking towards the little princess, gently carrying her in between her arms.
"Are you tired, little princess?"
Marion asked while walking slowly back towards the bed where she gently resting the prince's face on the soft pillow.
"Sing to me! Pleaaase"
She said while begging. Not knowing that she did not need to ask twice to get what she wants, since Marion had a very soft spot when it comes to children, especially the little princes as she has been taking care of her for about a year.
A very gentle voice, warmer than the blanket and very sweet. The longer she sand the quieter the room felt, lowering her notes as Marina smile faded away slowly, fighting her sleep but eventually giving in and fully closing those eyes.
Even though it was nighttime, the palace was very lively.
From the maids who were still cleaning the rooms to the guards who were helping renovating the other side of the palace.
Everyone seemed to be enjoying their work and chose to do more.
Her eyes kept looking around the hallway, then all the way upstairs, hoping she could catch a glimpse of her lover.
"Miss Ida?"
A maid walked towards her asking.
Ida was a caught od guard yet she gave a positive answer by nodding her head.
"Please allow me to carry your language and show you to your room"
The maid said while carrying Ida's stuff and proceeding to show her the way upstairs.
Ida looked back and when she saw that Larica, Luna and Venator were already getting their own welcome, she felt relieved and followed the maid's directions.
While walking towards the room, a very familiar face approached them with a bright smile.
"Your majesty"
The maid said with a gentle bow.
Followed by Ida who remained quiet, but her eyes were sparkling, they did not want to look anywhere else other than Elmer's direction.
His golden hair was very neatly placed, and it has been a while since she saw him all dressed up too.
"I will take it from here, thank you"
He said while the maid handed him the bag and immediately excused herself.
"I am very happy to see you again, Adelia"
