Chapter 35 - You've got to be kidding? Right?

Sunghae's POV

~Flashback~
"Our stay may not be long but I promise you, that we'll try to visit often as we can," Said Appa. We were all eating lunch together at this restaurant before they go back home. Appa has a case to work on, while Aunt Clarissa is still making preparations for the wedding. "About the wedding, we should invite Taekwoon", said Appa. "Are you sure?", I ask. "Yes, he is family now. Anything wrong?" he asked. "No Appa," I shook my head.

It's just the fact that they are busy, and how will they make they can make it to Australia. "I forgot to say, the wedding preparations here is almost done," she said. "So that means the wedding here will be first?" I ask. "Yes, but when you are finished with your promotions and when you have less schedules", said Appa. "Ahh okay."

"We'll see you soon, Omma, Hwanjae and Taekwoon will be taking care," said Appa. I gave them one last hug before they both left to fly back to Australia.

Taekwoon's POV

~Flashback~
My phone rang while I'm on my PC making music, "Hello Sunghae, anything wrong?" I said. "I couldn't lie to Appa, so now they know that we're together," she told me. "What did your appa say?" I just hope it's not anything bad. "Well they want us to all meet together, and eat also talk about how I can be in a relationship with you," she said. "When will this be?" I ask looking for my planner to write it down. "I think tomorrow will be the best, before they go back home," she said. "That is fine, what time?".

"Maybe around noon," she said. "Where?" I asked just to make sure that I won't get lost. "At the Korean BBQ place we usually go since Appa doesn't want it to be too formal, to the point it's uncomfortable," she said. "Okay, I'll see you then. I love you," I wait for her response. "I love you too." I stopped work early so I could prepare myself, I introduced myself as VIXX's Leo but now I should introduce myself as Jung Taekwoon Sunghae's boyfriend. I shouldn't be nervous but still I end up being nervous hoping not to make any bad impressions.

~ Next Day ~

I dressed myself nicely maybe smart casual as the closest to what I can explain since it's Korean BBQ but meeting the parents. I was hoping for Sunghae to meet my parents sometime soon but maybe when our schedule isn't that packed. I left early so if there will be traffic I would somehow make it in time.
11:50am, okay I have time to park, then I'll quickly make my way there. I made my mask on and waited for a few minutes when I spotted them walking towards me, "Annyeong, did you wait long?" Asked Sunghae. "No maybe 3 or 4 minutes," I smiled at her. "Annyeonghasyeo, Chee Hoonjae-ssi, Jung Taekwoon, Sunghae's Boyfriend imnida," I shook hands with him.

"No need that 'ssi' stuff, you can call me appa," he said. Then I see Sunghae's eyes wide open. "Okay, Appa thank you for accepting me," I said. "Thank you for accepting her, I was worried that Sunghae will die alone with no kids," he said which made me laugh. "Appa," she lightly hit him on the arm. "Don't worry, I will stay by her side." We all looked at the Korean BBQ, "Can we eat now?" Asked her older brother. "Sure," we all walked in and Sunghae's Appa made arrangements. We all sat down and the side dishes and meat came straight away. I sat next to Sunghae on my right then her brother on the left. "Taekwoon-ah, whose older I'm Hwanjae nice to meet you," asked Hwanjae. "I'm a 90 liner," I said. "Woah Hyung I'm 93 liner," he said. "I don't think you're bad for Sunghae but if it's someone younger than me, to me I would be speculating," I helped Sunghae's appa with cooking the meat.
