Bruce had called her a week ago about what happened with Dick. For some reason she felt compelled to see him. Like it was her duty to make him feel better. That's how she ended up at the place speaking with the Nurse. "Did you tell him who its was?" She asked fiddling with the handle of the small bag. The Nurse sighed and rubbed her temples. "Okay come with me" she said guiding the girl down a hallway. The door opened to the room as she walked in. It was dark with the exception of the sun setting from the window.

The Nurse gave her the okay as she walked further. Heels clicking against the ground she looked around. He sat on the window ledge staring out at the cold sky. "Hey" she said in a soft voice as he looked over at her for a moment. It took a second before his eyes went wide and he looked down ashamed. Taking a seat on the ledge across from him she sighed. "Dick what happened? Bruce called me and I came right away" she said as he continued to stare at his arms.

Knees pulled to his chest as he rested his chin on his arms he stared out the window. "My life is shit" he finally said as she frowned. He never went into to detail about how he felt when she was around him. "I got you something" she said opening the small bag she brought with her. His eyes glanced over her seeing that she still had that ring on. The one he gave her as a gift, god that felt like forever ago. Pulling out a small elephant plushy she held it out to him. "I actually went to the Manor before coming here. Bruce told me a lot and that you liked elephants" she said as he unfolded his arms.

Reaching out he carefully took it and hugged it to his chest. Elephants reminded him of Zitka from his time in the circus. "Thanks Zee" he said in a tone that was barely above a whisper. Nodding she turned her head and stared out at the setting sun. Her breath fogged up the window slightly as she traced a heart with her finger. "You see the funny thing is-the funny thing is that after what you did I still-I still love you" she said as her voice faltered a couple times. It was weird seeing him so vulnerable and broken. He always acted so brave and unbreakable.

Reaching out she took his hand in hers and squeezed it for comfort. "It will be okay" she said as he sighed and gave her a small smile.

It was almost dark out as she paced around her shared bedroom. Garfield was supposed to pick her up at six and it was now six-thirty. Did he stand her up? Just then the doorbell rang as she ran down the stairs. Before opening the door she checked herself over. "Its just Gar" she reminded herself before opening the door. "Your late Garfield" she said walking out the door and closing it behind her. He let out a nervous chuckle and handed her a red rose. "Yeah sorry about that Rae. I was just running to get you a flower and then I realized the time and ran here as fast as I could" he said with a nervous smile as she took the delicate flower.

There were no thorns on it and it smelt amazing. Flowers always were her favourite, especially red roses. "So I thought we could start by going to dinner at a café" he said as she raised an eyebrow. They were walking down the sidewalk as she glanced over him. He cleaned up good if she had to admit it. "Oh and I like your outfit and hair and makeup! I forgot to compliment you when you came out of the house" he quickly stumbled out his words as she stifled a laugh.

She could just see how nervous he actually was. "Ugh just shut up already" she said pulling him towards her and quickly kissing him. Pulling away his cheeks were flushed a bright red as she rolled her eyes. They arrived at the little café and ordered two soups, one herbal tea and a milkshake. Gently she blew on her soup as the steam danced through the air. It was still pretty good outside as she took her jacket off. Glancing up she noticed him staring at her. "Do I have something on me?" She asked as he shook his head.

A mesmerized smile appeared on his face as he shook his head. "Nah Rae you're just so pretty. Like, like a dark angel" he said as she felt the blood rise to her cheeks. His blonde hair fell in front of his beautiful green eyes as he just smiled. "Thanks Gar" she said taking a sip of her soup. They sat there eating as he told her really corny jokes. He even made her crack a smile once or twice. By the end he was walking her home as snow began falling from the sky. "I don't understand why the kid's at school call you creepy? I mean you're super cool, maybe a little hot headed but I think your amazing" he gushed as she blushed.
