The weekend came sooner than she would've liked. Now she was piling her boxes into the back of a moving truck. "Friend Raven I am the almost done" Kori said with a smile as she gave the red head a fake smile. She didn't have much to pack away besides her books, clothes and stuff she cared about. Within the next hour they were finished as the moving van left the driveway. "It is time to do the going" Kori said putting her arm around the girl as they stared up at the house. "I'm actually going to miss this place" she said as Kori nodded.

It was silent for a couple minutes before they walked to the car. As she was opening the door fast footsteps and yelling were heard. "Raven!" The voice yelled as she whipped her head around seeing Garfield run down the sidewalk. Walking down to the edge of the driveway he ran at her. Engulfing her in a hug which almost knocked her off of her feet. "Good luck" he whispered into her ear before sweetly kissing her cheek. Smiling she got in the car and waved goodbye as Kori pulled out of the driveway.

Soon the blonde haired boy was nothing but a speck in the distance.

Zatanna had been staying for the whole week and today was the last day before heading back to Gotham. Everyday was spent hanging out with Dick to try and make him feel a little better. She woke up extra early and picked up two doughnuts. Entering the building she flashed the lady at the front desk a smile before skipping down the hallway. Standing in front of the door she happily knocked on the doorway. When there was no answer she turned the doorknob and slowly made her way inside.

The curtains were open as the crisp morning light filled the room. On the second day of hanging out they had established that they could be friends for now. He seemed happier about it when she said that which made her happy as well. The sound of a shower turning off echoed through the room as she turned around. Dick walked out still not noticing her there. He walked out in black trackpants and a towel around his neck. A blush spread across her cheeks as she looked away. "Ahem" she said still flustered.

He yelped and quickly fell over being so surprised. He hadn't heard her come in or even knock for that matter. Walking over she held her hand out to him and pulled him up. Did he look this good before? "Oh here. I brought you a doughnut" she said with a smile hanging him a bag which he graciously took. Taking it out of the bag he stuffed it in his mouth and walked over to pull a T-shirt on. They both then sat on the windows ledge and ate silently. Watching the sun rise over the oceans horizon seemed awfully calming.

After eating they decided to go for a walk. Well she kind of forced him to go out instead of staying locked up. The building had an area by the beach that had multiple activities. It was a little chilly but that didn't stop them from tossing a ball back and forth. "Today's your last day here huh?" He asked in a glum voice as she nodded. When she threw the ball he didn't catch it this time. Instead the ball landed on the sand with a soft thump. "Why did you come here?" He asked looking up at her. The sun made his blue eyes twinkle like the stars.

Sighing she walked towards him and just gave him a hug. "Because I believe in you Dick. I know that you got everything torn away from you when you were younger but that made you a better person. I know you know in your heart that what I'm saying is true. You'll get through it I know you will" she said looking up at him with a soft smile. That smile that would make even the meanest people melt in awe. "How do you know I will?" He asked pulling away from her embrace and turning to face the ocean.

It was silent for a moment as their frosty breath danced in front of their faces. "Because I believe in you" she said in a small voice. This made his whole entire body go stiff. The last people who believed in him were his parents and they were dead. "People still need you Dick. I know that Tim does, your friends need you and most of all I need you" she said with a warm smile as he looked down. Slowly tears began spilling from his eyes and streaming down his cheeks. "Dammit Zatanna Zatara" he muttered wiping his cheeks with his sleeve.
