Alex POV
I woke up next to Tobin, rather wrapped in Tobin's arms. She kissed my neck and smiled.
"Morning babe." She said. I rolled over to face her.
"Good morning." I put my hands on her shoulders.
"I hate to be the downer, but we've got a show tonight." She said.
"Really? So soon after..." I trailed off.
"Yeah, I know, but we can't reschedule." She made a sad face.
"Where is it?" I asked.
"The Starland Ballroom."
I sighed out, "Sounds fancy." I smiled.
"It's really not, it's not even a ballroom." She laughed. I laughed along and smiled at her.
"I love you." I said.
"I love you too."
"So you gunna be there tonight?" She asked.
"Wouldn't miss it." I kissed her nose and we got up. I made us breakfast and we took it to the couch. We sat down and we were about to eat when our door burst open.
"Hello love birds!" Kelley said followed by Ash and JJ.
"How'd last night go?" She asked. Tobin told her the whole story and she sat down right between us.
"I'd just like to point out, that Captain Kelley has navigated this ship through some pretty rough waters, but she never l ft the wheel." We both laughed.
"Yes, we know, thank you captain." Tobin saluted and we all laughed.
"Oh Tobs, the real reason we came over here, I need you to come with me to the ballroom, do some sound checks, oh and we gotta meet with the owners."
"Alright, lemme get dressed, then we'll head out." She got up to go to our room.
"Ah, hey hey!" I called. She turned around.
"What about breakfast?" I said.
"I'm sorry babe, I've gotta go, but we'll get lunch?" She questioned.
"Ok, fine." I said. I kissed her and she went off into her room.
"So, Alex, let's see that chunk of jewelry on that finger!" Kelley said.
"Calm down Kel." I laughed.
"I saw it when I helped Tobin pick it out, but I've yet to see it on your finger." She poked my sides.
"You helped her pick it out?" I asked.
"Listen, as romantic as Tobin is, when it comes to material matter, she's the worst." Kelley said.
"Yeah, yeah I know." I talked to Kelley, Ash, and JJ about the ring u too Tobin came out.
"Alright, let's hit it." She said. Ash picked up her keys.
"Let's goooooo!" She said. Tobin kissed me and they were out the door.
"Ok, so have you guys talked about a wedding?" Kelley asked the second the door was shut.
"What? Kel, we aren't even really engaged yet." I said.
"Yeah but I'd get a jump on it. You and I both know Tobin has that tendency to run."
"Wow, thanks for the utter terror." I said. "I don't wanna scare her by rushing things though." I said.
"Ok, maybe not weddings, but maybe you could do something to kinda, nudge the relationship forward, you know what I mean?" JJ asked.
"Like what?" I asked.
"I don't know, something big enough that she'll notice, but not too big." Kelley said.
"Ooooh what about a holiday card?" I asked.
"Oh yeah that'd be great, except that's stupid, and Christmas was like four months ago." Kelley dead panned.
"Ok then what?" I said.
"Well a wedding is too much, so mixtape?" JJ said.
"Too little, and, too 1985." I said.
"Hey what if we bought a new place?" I said.
"I've been looking at some houses. We'd stay in town, and maybe we'd even keep this place and do something with it." I said.
"That sounds perfect." Kelley said.
Tobin and Ash came back about an hour later. We all got ready for the concert and piled into the car.
I hung back stage with them until it was time to go on.
"Any requests babe?" Tobin asked before they had to go.
"Hmmm, something fun and exciting, gets the adrenaline going." I said holding her arm.
"Got it." She winked at me. She kissed me before they ran out on stage. They greeted the crowd before they started to play.
"Alright alright, this is a song about just going totally fucking bonkers!" She said. The crowd roared as they started to play.Concrete dream - hey

My little exorcist, we're all getting pissed

"Hey baby." She said kissing me.
"Great show." I said returning it.
"Thank you, thank you." She said with a mocking bow as she handed her guitar to a stage hand.
"Hey, I know this sounds bitchy, but I kinda wanna leave and go home, I'm not feeling great." Now this was true, but not because I was sick, I was nervous to talk to Tobin about moving.
"Yeah yeah, Alright, let's go." She said putting a hand on my back. We walked to the car and started the drive home when I couldn't keep it in any longer.
"Hey, um, can we talk?" I asked. She simply nodded her head.
"So, I've been thinking about this for a while. And, I love our life now, but, there's always a time for change." She grabbed my hand, keeping her eyes on the road.
"What would you think about, buying a house together?" She turned her head to look at me. Eyebrows knitted together, but eyes wide. Uh oh.
