Tobin POV

The next morning I woke up to noise coming from my kitchen. I made sure not to wake Alex up, threw in my glasses and then walked to the kitchen to find my three idiot friends, an upside down frying pan, raw eggs on the floor, a broken glass, and all three of them covered in various breakfast foods.
"Jesus Christ, it was a beautiful August morning." I mumbled walking up to a cabinet and grabbing a mug.
"Listen, it was-" JJ started but I cut her off.
"I don't wanna hear it, just clean it up before Alex gets out here."
"Clean what up before I get out here?" We all turned to see Alex walk around the corner and straight into my arms.
"Morning." She mumbled against my chest.
"Good morning." I kissed the top of her head. She took the coffee mug from my hands and took a sip.
"Hey!" I said reaching to take it back.
"Catch me if you can!" She turned around and was about to run away when she noticed the broken glass and food on the floor. It was too late for her to stop herself, but not too late for me. She started to fall when she tried to stop cold, so I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist, lifting her up and pulling her away from the mess.
"Gotcha." I raised an eyebrow and smiled.
"Thank you." She leaned up to kiss me. My friends clapped as this all unfolded. I pulled away from Alex and bowed twice.
"Thank you, thank you." I said jokingly.
"Tobs by the way, Cindy wants us to come in today and give her a new song." Ash said.
"Wow, thanks for the big heads up." I said.
"You've got like three works in progress, just finish one." She said.
"Yeah yeah." I brushed her off as I sat down at the table. Alex came and sat next to me. I sat with my head propped up by my heads, staring into my coffee.
"You ok babe?" Alex asked as she stroked my arm.
"Hm? Oh yeah yeah, just trying to finish at least one if the songs."
"Don't you need an instrument?" He laughed.
"I can figure it out in my head." I smiled.
"Well can I hear one?" She asked.
"Oh, sing that one you were telling me about. The one about how you loved Alex so much that it hurt." Kelley spat with a mouthful of food.
"Awwwwww!" Alex said wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Yeah thanks Kel." I said annoyed. She smiled back.
"Well now I gotta hear it." Alex said.
"Fine, but I'm doing the stripped version, I like it better." I said. I started tapping the table for a beat.

Alex came over and whispered in my ear, "I love it, like I love you." She planted a kiss on my cheek and my friends mocked us.
"Sounds great Tobs." My friends agreed.
"Then what are we waiting for! Let's head to the studio!"
