Alex POV

I stepped out of the shower and ran a brush through my hair. I threw on some shorts and a tee from a Youthful Exuberance tour from a few months ago. The day was winding down and we were getting ready for bed. I walked out to the living room to see Tobin lying on the couch with Tillie lying on her chest. She was petting him as she watched tv. I lifted up her legs and sat down, putting them back on my lap.
"Geez, if I had known that dog was gunna take my place, I wouldn't have been so excited about him."
Tobin laughed, "Yeah well someone had to keep me company while you were in the shower." She said. I tucked my legs under me and leaned into her ear.
"You could've joined me." I said as my lips brushed her ears. I felt a shiver go through her body. I picked up the dog and put him on the floor.
"Hmm, I didn't know that was an option," she said pulling me onto her lap. "Next time you'll have to give me a proper invitation." She smirked.
"Here's your invitation." I whispered as I took her bottom lip in mine. Tobin wrapped her arms around my back. Then I heard my phone go off from the table above Tobin's head.
"Ignore it." She said against my lips before pressing them together again. I obliged, but when another call came a second later, I had to answer. Tobin groaned as I got up and kept our hands intertwined the whole time. I laughed before answering.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Yes is this Ms. Alex Morgan?" They voice asked.
"Um, that depends, who's asking?" I asked.
"Oh excuse me, hi, I'm Jason, I work for Flipside Records, Tobin's label?" They said.
"Oh yeah yeah of course, do you need to speak to her?" I asked already taking the phone from my ear.
"Oh no I need to talk to you actually. Multiple media networks have asked if we could get an interview with you and Tobin talking about your relationship."
"Oh, um, well I'd have to talk to Tobin about it." I said. Tobin's head snapped up from where she was sitting. I thanked the man and hung up.
"So," I said walking back to the couch, "you and I are in high demand for an interview."
"Really?" Tobin asked pulling me back down to the couch. I nodded my head.
"They wanna talk to us about, us." I laughed.
"Well are you alright with that?" She asked. I thought for a second before nodding my head.
"They say there's a slot for us tomorrow if we want it." I said.
"Let's do it." She smiled. We just asked for a few more hours until we drifted off to sleep, ready for tomorrow.

"Lex cmon. We gotta get going!" Tobin called to me. I was finishing getting dressed while she was in the living room. I came running out, my high heels clicking against the wooden floors.
"Jeez Lex, those are pretty tall, you sure you can walk in those?" She asked.
"Calm down to a they're not that-" I was cut off when I tripped and started to fall. At the last second Tobin reached out and caught me under my arms. I looked up at her in disbelief.
"I think you just fell for me." She smiled. I playfully rolled my eyes and stood up.
"Will you put on less...dangerous shoes?" She asked. I sighed and went to put on flats. I came back a second later and we hopped in her car. We drove singing along to the radio and parked the car in the lot. When we got in and sat down, reporters swarmed us. Tobin put a hand on my leg to calm me down, and someone who worked for her came to settle them. Once they were quiet, one reporter raised his hand and Tobin nodded to him. He stood and smiled.
"First of all, thank you for being here today. We know you have busy schedules and other things to do. We would've liked to get an interview sooner, but with all the craziness revolving around Youthful Exuberance lately, that came first." Tobin and I nodded.
"I'd like to start by asking how you two came to be." Tobin and I took turns telling the story, butting in when needed. We talked about high school, her bar shows, her first tour, the McClaves, breaking up, getting back together, breaking up again, and so on and so forth.
"And what do your band mates think of your relationship?" We laughed and told them about how many times they've had to fix things for us, or how Kelley has basically kept up from sinking.
"Alex, are you at all worried that with Tobin's rockstar lifestyle, she may cheat or meet someone else?" I looked over at Tobin and she seemed confused and offended by the question. And rightly so.
"No. Not at all. Tobin and I are in a very loving and committed relationship. There's no one I'd rather be with and, from what she tells me, she feels the same way." I smiled.
"Absolutely." She spoke. "I'm, so in love with Alex, and I can't even imagine being with anyone else." Someone else stood up.
"That's nice and all, but where do you two honestly see this relationship going?" I was taken aback by the sudden rudeness of the reporters. Before I could speak, Tobin beat me to it.
"I see myself marrying this woman. I see us having kids, and a Swingset in the backyard and a dog, actually, already have that one." She laughs. "I see us sending our kids off to college. I see us at our kids wedding. I see us growing old together. Rocking in chairs back and forth on the porch in the morning sunlight. I see us eating breakfast every morning and going to shows in the evening. And I see me being as happy as I can possibly be." She smiles back at me. The whole room is silent, to me at least. All I can hear is the sound of my heart racing as I look at her. This girl who, four years ago, I thought was dangerous, bad news, and not worth my time. Who didn't deserve to talk to me, who wasn't good enough. Oh how the tables have turned. It amazed me everyday that Tobin dated with me when there's so many people out there. I guess subconsciously I knew it before, but this was the first time I really thought it. Tobin was it for me. She was my one and only. She was the one I wanted to spend my entire life with.
