It was now the next day and we were about to have a meeting with Ty. I had managed to get my agent Dina LaPolt to help Ty out in his case. I was a bit nervous but she was confident that Ty was going to win his case, since he's a grown man and he doesn't smoke weed excessively in the slightest. We pulled up to the police department and walked to Ty's cell. A police officer led Ty, Dina and myself to this room where we could talk freely. Dina began the conversation. "So, Ty, you're in here for a claim that you use illegal marijuana excessively correct?" "Yes ma'am." Ty answered, nodding his head. "Well is it true?" "Not at all ma'am. I smoke a joint here and there but not excessively. The last time I smoked was the day after the party I went to when Lo and I first met." "Okay, hon, so if you got tested none would come up right?" "Right." Ty confirmed. Dina seemed quite happy to hear this and immediately called up the court. She told them that Ty was willing to take both a drug test and a polygraph test. She set up a date for these exams and the day that all of us could make ended up being December 9th. That was in 3 days.
----------------------------------------------
It was now December 9th and Ty was nervous. We were in the waiting room, just waiting for Ty to first take his polygraph exam and next to hand in his drug test. "Tyrone Griffin." The waiting room woman called out his name. Ty and I followed her into this room and spoke with a lawyer on how the lie detector test was going to work. Then, I had to leave the room so I couldn't manipulate Ty in any way to say something that was a lie or just cause him to wreck his results in any way. After about 45 minutes, Ty came out and we talked before the polygraph exam man gave the results. "Baby, it's gonna be okay. You'll get out of here, come back to your job at college, we'll be happy together and live happily ever after." I reassured him and then kissed him on the lips to calm him down. Then, the man who gave Ty his polygraph test came in. "Okay, so here are the results of Ty's exam. Question one: 'When was the last time you smoked anything?' Ty answered, 'The day after a party I went to, specifically date wise October 13th.' That was confirmed to be the truth. The next question: 'On the last day you smoked, what did you smoke?' Ty answered, 'Marijuana. I don't smoke cigarettes because of their tendencies to become heavily addicting.' That was also confirmed to be the truth.' The next question: 'How much marijuana did you smoke the last time you did?' Ty answered, 'I smoked one joint and then went on with my day and haven't smoked since.' That was ALSO the TRUTH. The last question: 'How much marijuana, in general, do you estimate that you have smoked?' Ty answered, 'Probably about 2 blunts, 3 joints, 1 bong. That sounds about right.' He was also telling the truth there. Mr. Griffin, all of the questions we asked you answered the truth to. So, I'd say you have a fighting chance at getting out of jail very, very soon. Thank you for your time sir. See you in 2 days in court." They shook hands and Ty and I ran out of the building, elated. Ty was going to be okay. Now all we had to do was win this court case.
