(A/N: this chapter is the twins' 6 month party and after that is a fam vacation then we'll focus more on the kids and the pregnancy than we have been. Enjoy!!)
Lauren's POV
It was around 7:30 AM when I woke up. I immediately went to the girls' room and slowly and carefully began to wake the 3 of them up. I cradled one twin in each arm and softly sang them their favorite song at the moment, which was 'I Lived' by OneRepublic. We cuddled for about an hour longer and then I dressed them. I put both twins in matching clothes. They were simple, but cute. It was a white onesie with a '6 Months' sticker on it and a headband with a small rose on top.

I dressed Dana in a white and pink ensemble as well, so she'd match her younger sisters to some degree.

Once they were dressed, I took them downstairs and carefully fed the twins so as to not mess up their outfits, while I assisted Dana in opening up a banana to eat with her juice, per her request. Ty came downstairs a bit later dressed in white. We decided I'd wear pink, he'd wear white, and the girls would wear both, as a symbol that they need both of us to make them who they are in a way.

We set up a bit more for the party, making sure everything was in order, and then put the twins in front of a white and pink backdrop to take photos of them. I had a passion for photography, so to save money, I figured I'd take them myself rather than spending a large sum of money that could be put to better use on a professional photographer. The photo shoot ended up taking about 2 hours, because we had a lot of ideas for poses for the pictures, and being that the girls were only 6 months, they kept moving around and it was quite difficult. We ended up finding a way to make sure they sat still. Ty bribed them with chocolate milk, something they loved but weren't allowed to have very often on account of the sugar. After the photos and a quick feeding of the promised chocolate milk, we sat around the house for about another hour before guests began to arrive. First, my parents and siblings showed up, followed by Mani and her boyfriend Val, Ally and her boyfriend Will, and Dinah and her boyfriend Ashton (A/N: bc I think ash from 5sos and d could be cute together lmao what do you think haha). After them, Ty's family showed up, then his buddies who were in the wedding. That was the end of the list of guests. We only invited certain people because we wanted it to be more of a private party. We played games and danced to the music booming throughout the house. We had a fun time and ate delicious food. It certainly was a successful 6 month celebration!
