Ch. 104

(A/N: plot twisttt....hahahha, I've decided to make this into a series on this book, like this'll be the focus for a bit (gate being bullied) so enjoy guys...figured we needed a real serious topic for a bit and I felt the story might be getting boring, so here we go!)

Time Skip 1 week

Cathy's POV

We had made an appointment for today to talk to the school principal and assistant principal about this situation. We knew it could just be children being nasty to other children, which is a normal thing, but t was odd for a bullying situation to happen so early on especially when Gaten was such a good kid and didn't do anything to the bullies. Alex and I got into the car, and drove off to the school. We got to the school and walked inside. An elderly woman sitting behind a desk greeted us. "Good morning, my name is Edna Greene, and I am the secretary here at Michael E. Pinciotti Elementary School and have been for over 25 years. May I ask your name and how we can assist you ladies today?" She said nicely, although it sounded quite rehearsed to us. We told her that we were Gaten's moms and that we had an appointment with the principal and assistant principal to talk about a bullying situation with Gaten and some kids. She pressed a button and buzzed us into the office. We walked into the big office which was basically a waiting room, and walked to the back wall, where there was a door that led into a smaller office, the principal's office. Alex held my hand and knocked on the door. A man dressed in a suit and tie answered it. "Hi, my name is Mr. Horan, and my assistant here is Mr. Payne." The man said. (A/N: yes, Niall Horan and Liam Payne are the inspirations for the principals hahah). He opened the door and told us to come in and have a seat, so we did. We sat down and spoke for a while, about how we adopted Gaten and his siblings years ago and he has lost both of his biological parents in a fatal car accident, and he was already sensitive as is, so these kids weren't helping and were in fact making it worse. They told us they were planning on speaking to the children's parents, but it was difficult to keep kids from bullying, because no one could be watching them 24/7, but they'd do their best to stop it. We were satisfied and went home happy. If we had known the hell Gaten was going to go through soon, we wouldn't have left so soon....
