Cathy's POV
I noticed that Nugget hadn't been wanting to play or do anything really but sleep. He was even reluctant to eat or use the bathroom. I had a bad feeling, so I decided to take him to the vet for a checkup. I woke up early one morning, and once Alex was at work, the boys were at school, and Stephanie was with Madison and DJ, I gently picked up Nugget and grabbed some of his stuff, and headed out to the vet.
Time Skip 2 hours
Cathy's POV
After two hours total of both driving and waiting in the patient waiting room, we were finally called into one of the back examining rooms. The doctor walked in. "Hello, I'm Dr. Conor, and I'll be examining Nugget today," the doctor said.

The doctor examined Nugget carefully for around 2 hours. Afterwards, he called me back into the room to give me the news. Alex had come after work so she was now with me, for comfort. "We've confirmed that Nugget has a tumor in his stomach, which is why he was reluctant to eat and use the bathroom. It is malignant, so I'd make your time with him count." Dr. Conor explained.
