Ch. 35

We were outside the breakfast diner. Normani and her boyfriend, Val, were already there. Dinah has just called saying she was on her way and Ally had done and said the same. "So, do y'all plan to keep Dana for your own?" Mani asked. "Completely 100%." I answered as Ty lifted Dana into his arms. "What about your doctors appointment? I heard y'all find out the gender today?" She asked. "Yeah, we do," Ty started. "I hope theyre fraternal twins so it's a boy and a girl. That was Dana has a sister to do girly things with but we can experience having a son as well." He explained further. At this point, Dinah and Ally had arrived, Ally had come with her boyfriend Will.

Ty's POV

I had something planned for today. After our errands, Lauren and I were suppose to go out for a romantic evening at a fancy ass restaurant. I had talked to Mike once we made up and he gave me my blessing. I touched my pocket and felt the small box. "Only a few more hours," I said to myself.

Lauren's POV

We had just finished at the diner and we were now on our way to the doctor. We arrived there and sat in the waiting room. Dana was on her iPad, one that she had gotten from Ty's mom for Christmas. It had a Backyardigans case and, what a surprise, she was watching the Backyardigans. We got inside the doctors office and waited for her to come in. Dr. Spears came in and greeted us warmly. "Hi, guys! It's good to see you back, and who's this little munchkin?" She cooed, bending down slightly so she was at Dana's level. Dana smiled shyly and hid behind Ty's leg. I got on the table and laid down. Dr. Spears prepared the monitor and then rubbed the detector on my stomach. She zoomed in on the babies. "Here's baby A and here's baby B. The gender is..."
