Gaten's POV

"Griffin! Put down that cigarette and get the hell in my office!"

I couldn't believe that my principal caught me. I was so dead! He was gonna tell my parents and Mama would kick my ass! I moped into the office and sat in the chair. "Gaten, what the hell do you think you were doing out there? Why would you smoke? And I know for a damn fact that was a joint, not a cig, so don't fuck with me and try to tell me otherwise. You know you were doing something wrong so just confess and the punishment won't be as bad." He said. "Mr. Collins, I was smoking, I admit that, but it wasn't during school hours, it wasn't on school property technically, and weed is legal in LA for recreational use and I'm old enough to smoke, yeah I'm only 16 but I've had a cigar or two with my grandparents and stuff, I didn't do anything wrong." I stated my case firmly, crossing my hands over my chest. I wasn't about to let him run me, not a chance in hell. "I'm sorry sir, but I'm not really in the mood for your bullshit." Damn, I must've been really high to be speaking like this to him. Wow. He squinted angrily and called my parents. "Hello, Mrs. and Mrs. Griffin, your son, Gaten, was caught earlier this morning smoking marijuana with his friends. I did bring him into my office and reprimand him, but he's been suspended for 2 weeks, it would've been 1 or 1 1/2 but he spoke back to me using foul language and he knows that's against the rules as well. I'd advise you to get here soon as he is not cooperating and I fully reserve the right to add more time onto his suspension if need be. I do apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for coming quickly. Much appreciated. This is Gaten's high school principal, Mr. Collins by the way."
