Ch. 16

It had now been around a week since the hearing and afterward Ty and my dad had apologized to each other and made up, which I found to be super sweet. It was about 2 AM and Ty and I were at his apartment, about to drive to Miami for our break. We decided to go to my parents' house for Christmas, and his for New Years. I was currently in his room where I would often sleep, and I was looking for my charger for my phone. I had packed all my other stuff already and Ty was downstairs in the garage loading it into the car. K suddenly felt very sick and rushed to the bathroom. I immediately threw up into the toilet and after only a few seconds, I felt someone hold my hair back and use their other hand to rub my back in an attempt to comfort me. "It's okay, babe, just let it all out, it will be over soon. Once I was done, Ty flushed the toilet and helped me back up. I brushed my teeth to get the smell of throw up out of my mouth and went to go relax. Ty offered to allow me to relax and finish packing for me, which I thought was so sweet of him. Once he was done with everything, we walked downstairs and got into the car. Ty put the heat on, since even in Florida it was beginning to get a little chilly, and put on some music. 'One Time' by Marian Hill began to play. (A/N: go buy 'Back To Me' by Marian Hill and Lauren out on iTunes and Spotify NOW!) We drove past a McDonald's and decided to get some food from there. Ty ordered a sausage mcmuffin with a large orange juice and hash browns. "What do you want babe?" Ty asked me. "I'll take an egg mcmuffin with lots of pickles and hash browns and a large half coke half dr. Pepper drink and a fudge and caramel Sunday with extra topping." Ty looked like he was about to throw up next but ordered it anyway. "Whatever my baby wants, my baby gets." He mumbled to himself as he ordered the food. We got our food and drove away. We ate, talked, and jammed to music for the next 3 hours, only having to stop twice. Once for a pee break, and once more toward the very end of our road trip, because I had to throw up again once more. I wonder why I've been so sick lately....
