I couldn't believe it. Alex didn't remember me. My eyes got teary, and I grabbed her hand, since she pulled it out of my grip. "Alex, I'm Cathy, your girlfriend. We've been together for almost 4 years now. This, this ring on your finger. You gave it to me as a promise ring and a six month anniversary present. Calex 4/13/22-infinity remember?" I cried. "If I did give you the ring, why is it with me and not you?" She asked, squinting her cute little eyes. "I gave it to you as a comfort item while you were still in your coma, I thought you'd just wake up and give it back. I didn't realize you wouldn't have your memory anymore. Please, baby, believe me, I love you." "Don't call me that, I don't even know you. How the hell am I supposed to love you?" My eyes widened at her words. "Your head may not love me right now, but your heart always will. I love you baby, I'll come tomorrow to see you. Sleep well." I said, sadly as I walked out with my head hung low.
