Time Skip a couple weeks
Alex's POV
Cathy had to go to a doctors appointment to get a check up, and the two youngest kids were at Daycare, so I was with Gaten alone. He was upstairs in his room alone and I was downstairs watching TV and folding laundry. I heard light, hesitant footsteps coming down the stairs, and soon enough Gaten was standing before me sheepishly. "Hey, bud, what's up?" I asked, putting down the shirt I was folding. "I-I have to show you something, b-but it's kinda serious, please don't get mad." He said, not bothering to even look at me as he grabbed my hand and showed me down the hall and up the stairs to his room. He opened the door and walked me over to his desk, asked me to sit down, and then he pulled something up on his laptop screen. He pulled open a message inbox and allowed me to read them.

I could not believe what I was reading. I couldn't believe that someone had the fucking audacity to act like that in front of my child, use homophobic slurs at him and at myself and my fiancé, like what the fuck?! I immediately grabbed his laptop and grabbed his arm. "Let's go, we're going to police, someone on here threatened to fucking kill you, there's death threats on here, let's go!" We drove off to the police station, we're solving this once and for all.
