It was the end of my time in college, granted I had to leave my first year almost 3/4 of the way through because of my pregnancy, but I was determined to still see it through and continue it online, since I knew that most people who dropped out of college (for a good reason or not) often times never come back to it, or they do too late. And job opportunities and opportunities in general, are quite limited without a formal college education. And university had always been one of my dreams anyway. The last reason I decided to finish was because I wanted to set a good example for my children. The kids look up to Ty and I more than anyone, and they followed our example, so it would have been foolish not to. I could still attend the graduation ceremony because the online classes I took was through a program that was run exclusively by my school. My college graduation was in a week, and I was very excited to attend.

(A/N: most people wear their graduation cap and gown over a dress (or suit) so just imagine that she has it over that please and thank you haha 😂)

Ally, Mani and Dinah had come over to help do my makeup since it was kind of hard to do it on your own with four kids hanging on you, especially when the youngest is not only 3 months old, but sick. Once my look was complete, the other girls and I helped each other out and once that was all finished, we left. We drove to the ceremony hall and I walked to the back with the girls as Ty and the kids went to the auditorium to be with my family.

Lauren's POV
It had been two hours and we were waiting in our caps and gowns to be called to march out. We were in a line based on our last names. So, I was toward the end of the middle area. We heard the song begin to play and walked down to our seats on the stage to wait for our names to be called. The dean began to call out names.
"Nicolas Ajack." "Lizzie Bennet." " Chloe Carson." "Sage Daniels." "Lola Emanuel." All the way down to J. Once they got to J, and I heard "Lauren Jauregui-Griffin." I walked up to receive my diploma. I smiled and went to the podium to make a speech, as I had received a few awards and was co-valedictorian with Ally. We walked up to the podium together and she started. "As I look out onto your smiling faces, I can't help but see one thing. Hope. Hope is what drives people to continue, even when life beats you down to the ground again and again. Hope helps you get out of bed in the morning, when you just can't seem to find it in you anywhere else. I also see love when I look at you. Love is what makes life easier for everyone. Just knowing that someone loves and needs you, and will always be there for you, is just that little push to force you through life. Life isn't all bad though, there are so many amazing things about it, really." She began. I continued and we took turns with our speech. Everyone gave us a standing ovation and were in tears by the end.
