Ch. 36

It had been a week since we found out the genders. We had invited our family to stay at our place for the week so we could reveal the gender and show off our new place. Dana was getting better and more comfortable with us day by day but she had yet to call neither Ty nor I mommy or daddy. We hadn't pushed her to, we hadn't even mentioned it to her to be honest. We both were confident in the fact that she would do it when she was ready. It may not be now, but it would be soon, hopefully. We had prepared our things for this and we were ready for the gender reveal. I was setting up the rest of the stuff while Ty went to the airport to at his parents and siblings. Mine had arrived two days prior, being that we live in the same state. Ty's family, however, were a different story because they still lived in LA. Dana was sitting at the kitchen table watching The Backyardigans. I was making her a quick snack since breakfast had been hours ago and she was probably hungry by now. I finished up making her food. It was a small fruit salad. She noticed me walking over and put her iPad down. "Here you go, mi amor." I said. "Tanks mama." She said. I almost cried. I was so shocked and happy at her words. "You're welcome baby girl." I walked back to the kitchen counter and finished up cleaning from breakfast since I'm a known procrastinator.

Time Skip 3 hours

At this point both Ty's family and my family were over and ready for the reveal. We had found out that the twins were identical, meaning it was either two boys or two girls. We had decided on the car reveal, since we couldn't afford the helicopter reveal, but it was such a great idea we decided to keep it for the next pregnancy, if there was one. Ty got the car ready and we all walked outside. "Okay babe, do it." I yelled. Ty revved the engine and drove.

I was elated!!! I was going to have my girls, just like I had always dreamed. My dream boyfriend and dream children.
