Ty and I were about ready to go to the store to get stuff for Dana. We had made a list of a good amount of stuff. So far, this was what our list included:

1) diapers
2) bottles
3) formula mix
4) fruit, cereal and other baby snacks
5) onesies and other toddler outfits
6) milk
7) baby shampoo and conditioner
8) washcloths
9) toys
10) baby show DVDs
11) bath toys
12) other baby accessories

We originally intended to go without Dana, only because we figured it'd be easier to get everything done quicker and more efficiently. But, as we were getting our shoes and coats on, Dana walked up to me, tilted her head to the side and asked "we go bye byes?" "No, baby, you stay here. We-" I pointed between Ty and I. "We go bye byes, but we'll be back soon. "No, no me come." Dana said, tears filling her eyes. She walked up to Ty. "P'ease?" She asked cutely. Ty obviously melted and couldn't resist, so we got her ready, told everyone we'd be back soon, and then we hit the road.

Once we got to the store, Ty grabbed a shopping cart and lifted Dana into the built in baby seat in the front and buckled her in. We went around the aisles and picked up the items we needed. Dana clapped her hands when she saw the Backyardigans DVDs and we picked up extra of those (different volumes not the same exact episode DVD). Ty made funny faces at Ty as he pushed the cart around and she smiled at him. Once we got all the stuff we needed, we headed home.

(A/N: time Skip to the next day aka Christmas Day with the Jauregui's)

It was now Christmas Day. Last night I had told my family about Dana and they all ended up getting gifts for her, and I didn't expect them to respond positively when I told them. Of course, however, my dad was still being salty because he felt like Ty and I were getting too serious too fast. We were now at my house and about to open presents. Dana went first. I handed her a neatly wrapped present and read the tag out loud to her. "Baby girl, its from Abuela." I said, as I looked at my mother. She smiled at me and I smiled back. Ty assisted Dana in opening her gift. She finally got it open, and it was a stuffed animal of Pablo the penguin from The Backyardigans.

She smiled and clapped her hands. I pointed at my mother and told her to say thank you. She walked over to my mom and kissed her on the cheek. We all smiled and cooed. She next opened a present from my dad. It was a fleece throw blanket of the Backyardigans characters.
