Ch. 51 (pt. 1)

Lauren's POV

Today was the day. The day, I, Lauren Jauregui, would be marrying the love of my life. I was so happy and excited. But, something felt off. Wrong. Odd. It wasn't even a feeling of dread or regret, as if I didn't want to marry Ty, because that wasn't the case at all. No, no, it felt more like a case of something was going to happen (something bad) and it was like I felt this premeditated sense of impending doom or danger. Whether I felt that way for my sake or for Ty's, I had no idea. But I didn't allow myself to forget that. I kept that in mind in case something did happen a bit later. I was in my dressing room with Ty's sister and mother, my sister and mother, and Dinah, Mani and Ally. My best friends from high school, Brittany, Alexa and Ericka should've been arriving soon. Ty was in his dressing room with his brother, my brother, his dad and my dad. We got ready, talked and smacked on cucumbers and grapes. Our wedding planner, Rebecca, came up to our room. "Hey, bride-to-be! Wedding starts in 5 minutes, so let's get a move-on!" I squealed excitedly and felt a tear or two drip down my face. Damn it, my makeup. I swore internally. I grabbed my bouquet of gardenias and roses and began to walk out toward where the service was going to be held. I waited for my cue to begin my march down the aisle when I noticed something off. Ty was... missing.
