"Umm, Dr. Spears?" Ty asked. "Yes, love?" She replied. "D-d-did you say b-both babies? As in more than one?!?" He asked, stuttering a bit, most likely out of shock. "Yes, honey. There's two of them. You guys are having twins! Isn't that exciting?!" She asked in a very happy tone. "Oh, yeah," Ty began sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "Thrilling." I slapped him lightly on the shoulder and gave him 'the look'. He knows when I give him this look, that I mean business. He immediately stopped and I smiled victoriously. I knew he wasn't UPSET that there were 2 babies, he was just shocked more than anything. And I was, too. Hearing that you have to give birth to one baby is frightening enough, but throw a second one in there, and that's a true horror story. Dr. Spears came back in and handed us out printed out picture of the babies.

"You see," she says. "Baby A is on the left and Baby B is on the right." As soon as I saw my babies on a photograph, I felt all of the anxiety just leave my body, and it was all replaced by joy. I covered my mouth, feeling my eyes tear up and thinking I'd just burst into tears right then and there. I looked over to my left and saw Ty with the exact same expression on his face as mine. We looked at it for a few more moments and then decided to head home. We thanked Dr. Spears and made plans to be back here in a month for our next appointment, obviously unless some sort of accident occurs. Ty and I walked out to our car and decided to head to the local KFC at my request. We listened to Khalid's newest album on the way. (A/N: go buy Love Lies by Normani and Khalid on iTunes now!!!) Once we got to the fast food chain restaurant, Ty shut off the car, got out and went to my side to let me out properly. "Oh, what a gentleman." I swooned, half joking half serious. We walked inside and the man behind the register said, "Hello, my name is Steve, and welcome to KFC. What can I get y'all fine folks today?" (A/N: go buy All Night by Lauren Jauregui and Steve Aoki on iTunes now!!). Ty motioned for me to order first. "Hi, um I'll have a Nashville hot chicken meal with extra pickles. Like A LOT of pickles. And I'll have the mini chocolate cake and the mini lemon cake and I'll have a cup for the fountain drinks." "Okay," he said, chuckling. He handed me my cup and Ty went up to the register to order his food as I went to the fountain soda machine to get my drink. As I was walking away, I heard Steve say to Ty, "Damn, your girl can eat!" I laughed and went to get my drink. It was a mix of a quarter lemonade, a quarter of coco-cola, a quarter sprite and a quarter root beer. We got our food to go and went home to eat.
