Cathy's POV
It was about 15 minutes left until Alex came home when I was ready for her, dinner, the kids were distracted, and a warm comfy bed to watch an already selected movie for after dinner and our conversation. I didn't feel like I needed to bribe her because I knew she wanted more kids and I did too, so it didn't really worry me, but I just felt like having a night with just the woman I love and I, together again. We had time now anyway, because once the kids came into our lives, we put the wedding off until further notice, not setting a date yet, so if we got pregnant now, we could wait until after the birth to get married. I waited on the couch for a bit until she came home. I heard her key enter the door and jimmy the lock open from the other side. She then pushed the door open and walked inside. "Hi baby!" I said, jumping up in delight and running to go hug her. She hugged me back and kissed my temple. "Hello to you too, love of my life," she said, then smiled and winked. I giggled and pulled her over to the kitchen. "Come sit down, a hot and delicious dinner awaits you!" I said, still very excited. We ate our dinner of fried chicken and mashed potatoes, and halfway through the meal I mentioned the idea of one of us getting pregnant. We went back and forth for about an hour on the subject but eventually Alex smiled, looked up at me and said, "let's have a baby!" I couldn't have been happier!!
