Time Skip to that night at dinner

Preston's POV

I invited Jackie over for dinner that night, so we could tell my parents about her pregnancy together. I was a bit scared, but seeing Jackie helped, I mean, she was so beautiful. I loved her so much. We went to sit down with my parents and ate a bit. About halfway through the meal, Jackie and I looked at each other and decided to just come right out with it. I held her and and took a deep breath in, and then out. "Mommy, Mama, I have to tell you something. Jackie's pregnant and it's my baby." I said straight up. Both of my parents' jaws dropped to the floor, their eyes widened in shock. "Uhm, excuse me?! She's what?!" Mama said, her voice getting louder and more angry in tone.  "She's pregnant mama, I'm sorry if that upsets you but it was a one-time accident that turned into something beautiful. Whether y'all like it or not, I'm stepping up to the plate and helping to raise my son or daughter. You raised me to own up to my responsibilities and to not run away from my problems, and that's what I'm doing." Mom and Mama started smiling. "Okay, fine, we don't exactly like it, but we accept it and applaud you for what you're doing. We raised you right. And Jackie, we love and accept you too, remember you're always welcome here." Mom said. I was very relieved, and I couldn't wait for the baby to arrive!
