It had been another week, but this time a week since Lucy had met us at the cafe. Ty had been acting really strange for the past few days and I was thinking about checking his text messages, but I felt like that may have been going a bit too far. I was sitting in the living room with Dana while she played with some of her Christmas gifts from my family. Ty was in our apartment complex's laundromat across the way from us. He left his phone (I assume he just forgot it) and it buzzed. I wasn't going to pay attention but when the screen flashed on as it buzzed, I saw in was an Instagram Direct Message from...Lucy? I quickly grabbed the phone and looked at the messages she sent.
