Ch. 66 (pt. 1)

(A/N: I'm sorry guys these next few chapters are actually pretty sad, normally we don't have sad we just have angry or funny or cute :/ )

Skip to 3 months before Lauren's due date

Lauren's POV

There was still 3 months before the baby's birth and we had already planned it all out. His name was going to be Tyler Declan Griffin. We decorated his nursery and planned everything out perfectly. His due date was October 11th, 2018. Everything was running just fine, until one fateful day. It was July 17th, 2018, and I was sitting outside watching the kids attempt to play football with their daddy. It truly was an adorable sight. I stood up to go get some more iced tea when I felt a sharp pain in my side. My first thought was that it was a cramp, it couldn't have been contractions, it was way too early. However, nearly only a moment later, I felt my water break. No, no, no this couldn't be happening, Tyler wasn't supposed to be born for months. It wasn't good to have a premature birth, anymore than around 30 days prior to the original due date is entering the danger zone for possible birth defects, or worse, death. "Ty! Get over here! Please help me! Ty!" I screamed. He immediately came rushing over, the babies in his arms. He helped me into the driveway, where the baby bag and our suitcases already were, as I said we were extreme prepared, but not for what was to come. He quickly buckled the kids into their seats, and helped me into mine before diving into his own and swerving out of the driveway and speeding down the street to the hospital. On the way, he called everyone we knew to see who could watch the babies while we were at the hospital. My parents and siblings were in Cuba, visiting family. Ty's parents and siblings were visiting TC in prison out of state for the week. The only person available was Normani, and she was perfect for the job. The girls loved her, she already had baby stuff with her, and I trusted her more than anyone. She agreed to meet us at the hospital and take the girls for a night or two, depending on how long we needed. Once we got to the hospital, Ty and I ran in with the girls. "We need a room please."
