Cathy's POV
The past few years had been relatively uneventful. Madison, DJ, Alex and I all entered high school together, we sat together at lunch, and really just had a good time as a group. Alex had never heard from her parents, so she moved in with her grandpa full time, and her aunt and uncle ended up moving in to help Alex with her grandpa and with life in general since he was getting old. Due to all that stress, Alex had begun smoking, which I hated. I always got mad at her when she did, so she'd try to hide it from me, but I could always tell, especially when we kissed. One day, we were on the bus, sitting together with our hands intertwined, DJ and Madison in the seats behind us, when the popular kid of our high school, Kole Martin, came over to us. "Hey, what's up, lesbos?" He asked, cockily. Alex rolled her eyes. "Fuck off, kole." She snapped. "Hey, when you ditch the dyke, how about you and me get together, yeah?" He said to me. "Listen, fucker, I'm gay, first of all, so I wouldn't want to and second, I love alex, and lastly I wouldn't want you because your dick is the size of my pinky. I'm a vegetarian, I know a baby carrot when i fucking see one." I said. Alex couldn't stop laughing. "Nice one, babe," she complimented. "Thanks, love." I said, kissing her. We went back to my house and hung out for the rest of the night.
