Ch. 42

I had decided to at least TALK to Lucy. But I wasn't willing to fully forgive her quite yet. I decided to meet up with her at the local coffee shop/lunch cafe with Ty and Dana. We were supposed to meet up Friday of the following week that I had received the message.

Time Skip to the following Friday

Ty, Dana and I got into the car to go to the cafe. We couldn't stay too long because we had to go to Dana's first ever physical with us, and possibly first ever. In less than a month, she'd finally be our daughter officially, which was insane to both Ty and I. I was supposed to give birth to the twins in around 4-5 months. We pulled up to the cafe and found a parking spot to park the car. Once it was parked, Ty came around to my side and opened the door for me. I smiled and kissed his nose. I went and grabbed Dana out of her car seat. We walked into the cafe and saw Lucy sitting at a booth not too far from the entrance, her nose in a menu. She looked up, saw us, and then smiled and waved us to come over. We walked over and took a seat. As Ty found the kids menu for Dana and helped her look for what she wanted to eat, Lucy started talking to me. "Hey, Lo. Thank you so much for meeting me." "Yeah, whatever." I said coldly as I drew my attention back to Ty and Dana. Dana was sitting in Ty's lap, pointing to items on the kids menu and Ty said them for her and she repeated them back. She pointed to the pasta. "That's pasta baby." Ty said as he kissed the top of her head. "'Assa." She attempted to repeat. They're so cute, I love my family. Lucy's voice brought me out of my trance. "So, what's been going on with you?" "Well, I got pregnant, Ty and I are engaged to be married on the 19th of June. And Dana will officially be ours pretty soon." I said. "Damn girl, you been busy." Lucy joked, laughing. "What about you?" I asked. "Well, Camila and I are actually still together. I'm thinking of proposing in a couple of months." She said. That made things quite awkward. At that point, I was kinda hoping that this lunch would go a hell of a lot quicker. I smiled awkwardly and nervously giggled. "Oh, that's nice" I said. "Hope it goes well." At moments like this i wish either I wasn't pregnant or that the twins were already born because I could really use either a drink or a joint right about now.
