Cathy's POV
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Alex screamed when I told her about the new reason for Gaten being bullied. "Alexa Jane, calm down, do not yell and curse our young children are upstairs sleeping, including our very sensitive and upset son. Stop it." I reprimanded. She glared at me, then her eyes softened and she rested her head in her hands, showing that she was stressed. "Cathy, I'm not mad at you, besides the kids, you're the person I love most in the world. But I'm mad, just because you and I are gay, doesn't mean it's bad and certainly doesn't constitute bullying." Alex explained. "I 100% agree with you, baby, but we need to take this up with the school board if we we want it to end. We tried to talk to the principals, and they didn't do jack shit. We have to fix this, now, before it gets worse and gets out of our control," I warned her, having dealt with being bullied because I was gay myself, and knowing Alex had as well. We made an appointment to meet up with the school board and talk to them about the situation. A week later, we were there.
Time Skip 1 week
Cathy's POV
We walked into the School Administrative Office, and went to room 613, where they told us to go. A man opened the door. "Hello? Oh yes, Gaten's parents, yeah?" He asked. We nodded and smiled. I began to get nervous, so Alex held my hand and gently rubbed my thumb with her thumb to comfort me. "We've been expecting you, I'm Dr. Ramos, I'm not an MD, but I have a PhD, so I go by Dr." Dr. Ramos said, laughing. We walked in and discussed the situation. We said how Gaten had been getting bullied for about a month now, and it had turned from basic teasing of an interest, to homophobia, which crossed a whole different line. We talked for a long while, but eventually we came to the agreement to switch Gaten's classes and see how that helped. God, I hoped it'd work...
